I was going to post this same thing, but in a more mocking tone. Tell these guys what party represents working america.
  3. I love mine!
  4. honestly if I were Garcia I would not want to have my father in law watching my every move, even if Garcia and Ozzie get along well. However, the husband has to bow to the wife's wishes.
  5. I will write the most accurate review there is about this movie: Fahrenheit 9/11: Some love it, some hate it If you are a tree hugging, bra burning, hippie liberal douche you won't be able to get enough of this movie. If you are a nation burning, child starving, elitist, piece of s*** conservative asshole you will hate every minute of this movie. If you are none of the above, you will enjoy watching the reactions of the people above. By the way, Mr. Moore, lose some weight so you don't kill yourself during the next election campaign!

Wasn't this guy in last years "ugliest humans" thread?
  7. I think it is funny to read another team's message board. It really is weird to see braves fans try to predict the future Sox outfield.

    I like the rock
  9. Look at the numbers thats all I am saying. Andruw Jones has name value and what else? He put on 20lbs to become a better player, and what did it do for him? It gave him a .243 average, and 2 stolen bases. And how about Russ Ortiz? Atlanta can keep his 1.47 whip, because if he switches leagues that mediocre curve, and high fastball will get destroyed. I'll take the guy hitting .302 with 7 home runs in 100 less at-bats.
  10. If we win the world series, Olivo become a 600/600 player and it won't bother me.
  11. If the Atlanta trade happens, I will be one pissed of mofo. Jones is not that much better than Rowand, and Ortiz is a piece of s***.
  12. dude, Jon Adkins is my boy, and you can't take that away from me
  13. Well your boy would still be wearing a Sox uni if he could handle the staff. I liked Olivo, and thought he was going to be our future everyday catcher, but if Garcia takes us deep into the playoffs, I will not have a single regret.
  14. I agree 100%
  15. I would love to see him beat the twinkies.
  16. Historically teams with everyday catchers are far more likely to make the playoffs...just thought I would throw that in.

I like Olivo a lot. He is a great player. But if Garcia brings us a ring it is worth it...even if Olivo turns out to be the best catcher in baseball history. Rings are more important. As far as Reed goes...he seems like a great player, but we are stacked with OF prospects.

I think life would be a lot more simple if people just faced up to things.

I actually got lucky as an umpire and never had any problems. I always concentrated and was usually pretty good and running all the situations through my head. However there was one bad situation. A runner was out of the baseline and I initially didn't call him out. The opposing team's manager yelled out, "he was out of the baseline!". I then called the runner out. I regretted overturning the call even though he did go out of the baseline. I found out it is better to stick with the wrong call than to change the call because the opposing team's manager pointed out something you missed. The other manager got on me for the rest of the game until I pretty much told him to shut his f***ing mouth or I was going to hit him. Mostly I felt bad for the kid that I called out. But all sympathy for him was lost in my anger at the manager who would not let the f***ing thing die. It was a 9 year old 4th of July all-star game, he treated it like the state tournament.

Anyway I like the early start to this thread. Go Sox! Lets send these motherf***ers back to wrigleyville
  22. That doesn't mean that the bottom doesn't vote for Bush though. See Arkansas as an example.
  23. It would definately be nice if Diaz turns into a consistent starter
  24. I told my friend earlier today that Diaz sucks... (eats crow)
  25. Using three year averages, Arkansas had the lowest median income entering the 2000 election. Arkansas voted for Bush. Don't make generalizations.
