It doesn't look like he'll miss time if he can stay healthy the rest of the season, but he's barely made any spring training starts. This really sucks for the Brewers who might actually be playing for something after all these years.

Sunday's info Usually gates open an hour and a half early.

That's something to watch for.

4/21 against Minnesota.

This ban has really always been there, they just never enforced it. Except probably in the bar and behind the bleachers, I don't know if it was permitted there or not.
-
And yet they'll have record attendance again because of their loyal fans. Idiots.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 09:14 PM) Aren't there over 20K season tickets sold? Around 21,500.

Comcast is starting their coverage at 6 so I guess around then, but that might be because they're doing Sportnite. 6 or 6:30

He was on the Score yesterday talking about GMU as well.

What is Felix Pie doing in his picture? Number 21 on the list.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 02:29 AM) Well, the difference this spring is that Jenks supposedly lifted too many weights over the offseason and now his arm is tightened up instead of being loose. This may be one of the reasons that his velocity is down. They have him on a new exercise plan now: more cardio. He's not throwing that slow anyway, he's been at about 95 or 96. The real problem for him is that he can't locate a curve to save his life. I hope that's something that will be remedied by a looser arm. Once the adrenaline is pumping in the regular season that might add a couple mph.

QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Mar 29, 2006 -> 09:41 AM) should a guy who showed up to camp overweight and outta shape be doing commericals for the worlds most unhealthy food? It caters well to McDonald's loyal fanbase.

I saw a lot of games lost in the late innings by bad lefties and other minor league pitchers. Thome has been on fire lately and the starters have been very good. I'll worry in the middle of April if they suck, but there's no reason to worry yet.

Luckily I have the first season on DVD, but this really sucks. King of the Hill has been on forever and I still have NO idea why.

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 04:46 PM) I'm surprised that ESPN radio signed off on that replay, that is if they had a say....but it was their announcing crew Aren't the broadcasts the property of MLB and the White Sox? I should really pay attention to those warnings.

QUOTE(benbacca37 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 08:42 PM) Hey I just noticed that SI.com has the White Sox winning the World Series over the Cardinals this year. So at least they're getting respect from someone. SI.com's predictions The preseason ranks show just how bad the National League is. Yikes.

QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) Great concise update G+T, nice job, thank you. I listened to the interview and it seemed like B+B needed to go to a break but Ozzie was in no hurry to finish the interview. Great interview, I thought it was funny when he said the Cubs were absolutely ok with the game ending after 9 innings ... when they were losing. Then when they tied it up, Dusty Baker was all "lots of people are gonna be mad". So Ozzie said "blame it on me then". You're very welcome.

QUOTE(Chisox_fan @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 06:36 PM) Do you think this means Rowand might be at the ring ceremony? Or does the manager always give the rings to former players? I really don't know, but it kinda sounded like Rowand might be there, but I really don't how how he meant that comment besides that he loves Rowand. BTW, Widge and AJ love Logan.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 28, 2006 -> 06:31 PM) Yeah, that last comment was pretty hilarious. Yeah but it was really random, I couldn't tell what the context even was.
-
Hasn't even talked to Rowand yet because he doesn't have the courage. Really likes Rowand and can't wait to give him his ring. (They keep saying final question yet the interview keeps going) Doesn't care about the media, just accepts that he's always wrong. Ozzie is the boss, and if you don't like it on his team, call your agent and get out. Confused as to why people didn't like ending the game yesterday in a tie. Only had Lopez in the pen and he was getting sent down. "Blame it on me." Cubs usually don't bring a competitive lineup to Tucson and had to send a letter to MLB to make them bring a better one. Doesn't get why anyone is mad. Last year he was so sad about the collapse that he really did want to quit. All the criticism wasn't fair to the club because they were trying so hard. He's not here for money and didn't want to bother with all that. Bobby Cox is not good looking, but he's a smart man. Good interview by B&B

Bonds shouldn't talk so much about his problems but sees breaking the record to be good for baseball, just like Sosa and McGuire. Attention in any respect is a good thing. Foreign teams (Japan, Cuba, etc) couldn't beat any US team. Concerns for the year - None. Iguchi at the beginning of ST, but he's not worried now. They'll play the game the right way, and they have good guys. Why is there a captain? Konerko does everything Guillen wants him to do. Buerhle could wear the C too. Konerko never complains and this off season he proved that he cares and respects the organization. The title is over rated, but Konerko earned it. Everett is jealous so he ran his mouth. He's not a leader, Frank Thomas is not a leader, Willie Harris is not a leader ("Can't lead his own house"). Loved Rowand and can't say a bad thing about him.
-
Guillen talking about this not being last year and they have to put that out of their minds. Jenks is fat and has to throw strikes. The whole team needed a kick in the ass(my words) at the beginning of ST. Can't come out sluggish. Playing well is more important than winning, especially in that park where it's so tough to judge players. Guillen has the lineup set, and Pods is not his concern because they have guys to cover for him. Depth is going to help them. They won't lose because of Pods and Hermy being hurt. If Jenks struggles, anyone could close, including Logan, if that's what needs to be done. Ready to take heat for making decisions that he thinks are best. Iguchi - looks lost at bottom of order, he sees better pitches at the top of the order, so he should be back at the 2 spot. Will change if he wants too. The pitching is healthy. Wants Bonds to break record.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 27, 2006 -> 10:53 PM) I think 3 teams in the AL Central are going to win 90+ games next year, and one will win triple digits. With an unbalanced schedule I think that's impossible without 2 teams losing a TON of games. Since I doubt either Detroit or KC will lose as many games as last year, this scenario is improbable.
