I get the feeling there will be some fear of this too.

Clevinger: Still in Charlotte
Hopefully this holds true.

White Sox @ Twins 1:10 PM
Because you have a tired and even more shitty rotation. Also, if this keeps Clevinger off the roster, I am in.

White Sox @ Twins 1:10 PM
Well, sort of.. which is why the pen is mediocre at best.

White Sox @ Twins 1:10 PM
Eh, the pen has pretty well performed to its talent level. GIGO.

Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
This thread is literally why posts get deleted and people get suspended. It's just a bunch of pointless name calling and mockery, with minimal actual baseball discussion going on.

Apparently not.

Clevinger: Still in Charlotte
This dude is about as bad of a pitcher as he is a human. Pretty sure you should lower your hopes

Clevinger: Still in Charlotte
Ah yes, anytime the Sox even dream about positive vibes, they play the Clevinger card. Genius. Either Getz is on board with this, or he doesn't have nearly as much power as we have been told. Either way, it's massive red flags.

Robert’s Future
If it did change their minds, they are even more spineless than I thought.
- Sox trade Andrew Vaughn to acquire Aaron Civale

Robert’s Future
Seems like a huge red flag to me.

Robert’s Future
If they let him walk for nothing, they absolutely blew it, and fucked it up multiple times. They blew it by not trading him when Getz took over, they blew it by not putting cash in this winter for the Reds deal, and they blew it by getting literally nothing for the right to pay Luis more money to go away. At that point It's like having a junk car on your lawn that the city is about to fine you for when the local scraper rolls up and offers to $50 for it, but you refuse because it is worth $60, and instead pay the fine.

Roberts? Who writes this?

Soxtalk mourns the passing of our beloved friend Alex (Heads)
I also saw Alex finally got his wish with the other Ernst not running again.

I’m tired of these types of posts
I have always read that winning is the best thing of all for a clubhouse. I do still find it wild that if the Sox actually have to teach something, they apparently aren't able to do it. They need pre-made players, which seems to show up with their most successful players coming from outside the organization on a regular basis.

Robert’s Future
I know it has been said that including dollars was on the table, but I also can't help but think that this might have something to do with the articles about other GMs being frustrated with Getz... if this changed at the last minute.
-
Fire Chris Getz
Since they can't seem to figure out how to play them both for some weird reason.

They were the veterans. We also saw a clubhouse descend into "chaos" when Tony LaRussa was hired, after Ricky Renteria had zero clubhouse problems. Of course, would the Sox take responsibility for the putting a well out of touch manager into a group that had shown no problems in the past, and then try to blame it on pretty much every player on the team? Well?

Robert’s Future
And unless the return is awful, he isn't getting traded in the off season.

Robert’s Future
After yet another season ending injury (or really close to it) do you really think his value is going to go up in the off season vs what teams were offering to them at the trade deadline? His health is literally point #1 to his value going forward, and it just failed again. If the Sox do decide to bring him back, I can't see anyone trading for him in the off season. If the Sox really think they are dealing him in the offseason, I see no reason to think it will be for much more than the could have gotten for him in July after he misses another 6 weeks due to another soft tissue injury.

Robert’s Future
Assuming Benny is back, the Sox have around $40 million in committed payroll to fill out the roster. Even bringing back Robert at $20 million still puts them far below their number this year, and they are finally getting some TV money. Don't get me wrong, they MIGHT not bring him back, but it shouldn't be because of bottom dollar considerations.

Sox trade Andrew Vaughn to acquire Aaron Civale
This. I think his price probably pushes into the $8 to $10 million range in his next arb year, which means unless he goes back to hot, he will go back to unemployed. Getting offered arb at about a $6 mil price tag was dumb enough, but I don't think the Brewers will keep digging that hole.
