  1. Dude get the hint. I can't take your perpetual crying seriously. Quit ruining every, single, damned, thread with your crying. No one cares about you. meanwhile all you do is keep responding to me. Maybe then you can get some actual enjoyment instead of worry about what everyone else is saying.

This just in, they are working on a Weird Al musical for Broadway.
  3. Which is obviously one that doesn't currently work on Soxtalk after the "upgrade".
  4. Based on projections, they probably have an opportunity to get ahold of one of them, unless they can convince one to push other teams off with a bigger bonus to get picked lower with some savings from the #1 pick.
  5. I would settle for a billionaire that isn't a paper billionaire and has some liquid assets they are willing to invest into the team. The Sox have never had someone whose primary source of wealth wasn't owning a professional franchise.
  6. And Jerry is the King of Chicago gentrification. Why are we pretending that he got to be a billionaire in a not exploitive way, when the evidence is right there in front of us all?
  7. Jose Canseco started before both of them IIRC.
  8. I think no matter who they draft you are going to see the Hatfields and McCoy's develop for the next few years. If nothing else, we will learn a lot about the progress of this organization to see how they handle this draft and subsequent development of these guys.
  9. I didn't need a link, I remembered.
  10. It was his knee for an experimental surgery that he didn't tell the team about.
  11. Did he list the other 36 teams?
  12. And they draft a ton of catching every year.
  13. There it is.
  14. Gatekeepers with nothing better to do.
  15. We got dudes relapsing more often than a crack house.
  16. This the kind of read I have been waiting for with Gonzalez.
  17. Wait until we get the lists of every single guy who could have been drafted in 2026.
  18. Half of those guys couldn't hit homers in their prime, let alone when they are old
  19. And it will be revisited from here to eternity after the draft too.
  20. Has to be "The Will's to Win"
  21. Not to mention the M&M boys. We can do better than dragging up corpses from the dead.
  22. It's Chicago. With the system that the local alderman have final approval over projects in their district, they all say now until they whip out their laundry list of demands and knock some items off of it. It's Chicago politics. If the Sox are willing to finance a part there, it WILL happen.
  23. Even if the coping mechanism is that Ishbia didn't directly pay for Murakami, I promise you that Ish putting down the cash paying off the nine figure debt that Jerry rang up through his historic mismanagement of the White Sox freed up operational cash to pay the man. If the Sox were depending full on Jerry, the man never signs here. Full Stop.
