In the AL Central? With a balanced schedule? Yeah no. 2, maybe 3 tops. Too many other huge spending teams to suck up those wins around the rest of baseball.

A decent amount of this list would have been top 20 guys a couple of years ago. It is nice to see a building of some real depth in the system.

Colson was also a three sport all star, holding his HS basketball record in scoring all time, plus the QB leading his team to Semi State. He wasn’t a full time baseball player until 19 and was still a pretty raw talent when drafted, very similar to Tim Anderson.

And the Sox using one pricing model all year. They aren't changing it upwards on any basis.

Some people just don't see themselves as trashy as they appear IRL.

Bulls, Cubs, and Bears fans are a different breed than Sox and Blackhawks fans. The former show up no matter what. The latter, not so much. Almost every fan base shows up when a team wins. Obvious there are a couple of exceptions, but in about 95% of cases that is true. We can argue if that makes for "smart" fans vs "loyal" fans all we want, but the fact that it is true remains, and it is a factor in the stadium that JR is looking for today. His primary focus seems to be putting this stadium into a project which will serve as a bridge to the casual fan who doesn't give a s%*# what the teams record is to fill in the years where the park is half empty.

Oh this would be an awesome twist.

I can't think of many things that are a bigger waste of time right now than a Sox fan listening to sports talk radio on the Score.

I will say this much. If Pedro really is as much of a dumbass as we all think, it is going to become a lot more obvious how bad he is when he is losing 3-2 games because of his mistakes versus losing 9-2 because his entire pitching staff and defense was trash and there were no good answers for either.

Sell the players on the other teams.

The difference being a decent ballpark attracts people in many places even when the team isn't good, which is really important with a fan base that doesn't show up when things aren't ideal.

Honestly the best place in the US to start another team would be the NY/NJ market. Even if you divided it up by 3 or even 4 teams it would still be bigger than pretty much any other team market.

Look, if you haven't figured out this is a rebuild, you deserve to pay to watch this team. I can't think of a better punishment.

Great managers aren't going to anything with an awful team. Look at Bill Belichek's record minus Tom Brady.

Then he would literally never talk, and that would upset people. Or he could tell the truth, and that would upset people. This whole franchise is total BS right now. Do you need it said to you every day?
