To be fair, the last guy that fit into the "Sox connection" bucket was Ed Howard, and the Sox passed on him.

He's already decently far behind his mark. He essentially needs to average an inning per game played to make it to 160. He is at 30 through 43 games. Even if he goes 6 tonight, that makes 36 in 44 games. He still has some make up to do with Lynn coming back soon and Cueto looking really good.

Hopefully it isn't serious as Kelly was finally looking like himself the last few days.
