  1. That would be the most south side thing to do, turn her into a cult hero, and put her to work at the stadium. Figure out a way to simulcast her heckling teams best OFs.
  2. That's interesting. I suppose that you have to feel you can fix Castillo to make it work, as he has been AWFUL to start this year, and it doesn't seem to be injury related as his velos are steady to up, across his portfolio.
  3. Eh, you can't teach someone to throw 99. You take chances on those guys hoping they can be fixed every time.
  4. I said it over the winter when the arb hearing fell apart.
  5. Aw poor Pete. That girl ruined him. [Sad Trombone]
  6. Again, zero chance all four of them fight for the same position, at the same time. How longhave you watched baseball? It's the ultimate insanity in projecting out all prospects as successful.
  7. They always spend with a few dollars of their cap. This is the one thing that the Sox do very exacting.
  8. There is zero chance every single one of these guys succeeds to the point where they are fighting for the same positions. Zero.
  9. You know it's very likely that this never happens. Almost certain in fact. Betting every prospect will hit their ceiling in the ultimate in self delusion.
  10. Dude thinks if you go underslot it destroys your draft.
  11. Except Colson't mojo is shot recently.
  12. Boy, make this one change and you are talking about Jerry circa 1988 when he got Tampa to already build him a stadium in another state and was set to leave for it if he didn't get a fully paid with other people's money for a taxpayer stadium he was demanding.
  13. The weird fear of public transit is wild to watch. I mean being born and raised in NWI, obviously car culture is a thing, but everytime I travel for work to Chicago, NYC, DC, etc, outside of a trip to the airport, the public transit systems in those cities are so superior to any other mode of moving around, why WOULDN'T you use them if possible? Between the Jerry Reinsdorf parking tax at the parks, the price of gas, tolls, congestions and everything else that goes with it, if you get me within a few blocks on cheap convenient transit, I am in.
  14. But just that stuff though. Everything else which doesn't question, is completely accurate, of course.
  15. And it works the opposite way too. Confirmation bias.
  16. Except that wasn't what was said, but nice spin.
  17. Apparently you can't make mistakes if you are getting a paycheck from a major league team. Who knew?
  18. Eh, it's more like American attention spans on to the next shiney thing.
  19. Without underslot, there is no overslot, except for the 5%. You don't get the next anyone without saving money somewhere else.
  20. Because they believe he can be taught to hit. Average hit tool, plus elite defense is a nine figure SS.
  21. Seems like the grindiest ones are the easiest to grind up.
  22. Correct. This is no wifi, just open air signal Verizon
