Yoan Moncada seven years ago
He’s a great defender, but I was stunned at the amount of money he received.

Moncada and Javy Baez hav the same OBP and similar BA. Moncada has hit as many HR in about half the plate appearances.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
One thing that has changed is he cannot pitch right now.

G/T 6/15 White Sox (29-31) v Tigers (24-37) 12:30 Chgo time - Gonna be a hot one
TA should be back this weekend. You have to figure Mendick has played his way to a roster spot. Harrison is probably in his final days as a White Sox.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
If this is true, it's amazing the White Sox gave him the contract he has.

Thank God for Tony. Who else would have figured Lambert could close?

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Flexor strain. Not good news. It’s a pre-curser. Sale was diagnosed with a flexor strain in March of 2020. 2 weeks later it’s announced he is having TJS.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Does anyone know of any power pitcher who had a forearm strain that didn’t eventually get TJS.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
He’s been wearing a compression sleeve on his elbow when warming up for at least a month. I’m thinking they knew it was going to blow, just hoped it could be delayed as long as possible.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
It seems forearm strains eventually turn into TJS. I just wonder how they can go from, tomorrow to tomorrow again to 3 weeks.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Nothing to lose. Besides, they seem to be the last people to know their players even warrant an IL stint this year. Not only have they not had a full roster of 5hei best players, they haven’t had a full roster period available for probably 95% of their games.

It's not a lie.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Yes, I didn't understand using him, but the more you think about it, whether he pitched that game or not, I'm thinking this injury was coming anyway. He always warmed up with a sleeve on his elbow, then took it off. So something has been up for a while.

Alternate/ive Realities ("Safety Not Guaranteed")
The reason the run differential is so bad is somewhat on Tony, no? Let's not give him credit for having a team with more talent playing beneath itself. The guy sucks. Heyman even ripped him. https://nypost.com/2022/06/13/tony-la-russas-shoddy-managing-hurting-more-than-white-sox/

And That's a White Sox Winner !!!!
Tony was sitting back with his pants undone during his press conference.

So did Hendriks hurt himself when Tony put him in a 5 run game?

GT 6/13 White Sox V Tigers 6:10 Chgo Time - Bastard Time
It is amazing how many times the Sox have had their worst hitters and worst pitchers in a big position to have to perform this year with expected results. Always has been a thing that bothered me about Yony. He loves his worst players.

That's even a question? Seby was the obvious choice. A career .170 hitter. Who else could pinch hit?

Got to wait to put him on the DL. Tony likes to play with a short roster. It's either that or Hahn is petrified Tony will play his replacement in a position or spot in the batting order they haven't been in since high school.

Absolutely.

One pitch 1 HR. Their first HR in 9 games. Fire the trainers. Fire Katz. And of course, Fire Tony.

Time to put Jose out to pasture.
-
Katz? Yes or No?
With Cease's development and Kopech's and a couple of others, at least you can say Katz at least could be responsible for some improved performance. Who else can you say that about with the White Sox?

Soxtalk TMZ - Tim Anderson knocked up a woman that isn't his wife
Absolutely agree, unless somehow his wife is OK with this, or they are no longer together, this is very unfair and cruel to her.
