Hahn Meeting With Media Today
They hold out the hope for Moncada probably because Hahn failed to pick up a LH impact bat. It was needed when Moncada and Grandal were healthy but theycheaped it out and went with Sheets. RH really had an horrific offseason.

It's almost as if the team who says it's WS or bust, is trying to save money by constantly playing short and not calling up a minimum wage guy.

Hahn Meeting With Media Today
Especially when they know Moncada tends to struggle when he's not near 100 %. If they play him in a couple of days is there anyone except the White Sox thinking he won't be favoring it, and won't either suck or hurt it worse? If I'm JR I would sit the strength and conditioning guys, the training staff and KW and RH down and tell them if Moncada doesn't go on the IL, but has a another issue or a continuing issue with the same hammy, heads are rolling g. He would be ILd in 10 seconds.

Hahn Meeting With Media Today
It's silly. Moncada is hurt and unavailable, yet they would rather play short for at least a week so they could possibly bring him back before 10 days. Just do the inevitable and IL him.

Sox got down to 13 pitchers last week. So Moncada goes on DL or Harrison gets DFAd or Haseley goes back to Charlotte.

6/19/22 GT White Sox @ Houston 6:08 Kopech vs Javier
Big Energy makes way too many plate appearances when the Sox absolutely need something from the at bat.

The Astros own broadcasts aren't as Homer as this one.

These 92 mph heaters are concerning me. Although no one has hit him hard yet.

6/17 G/T White Sox v Houston 7:10 Chgo Time lift off
I just don't understand why that has anthing to do with it, although I am sure you are right. The object should be to win the game not get Gio to his max pitch count.

How bout now Tony?

It might work out, but there is no reason Gio should still be out there.

Cubs 2022 thread
I read where the Cubs have yet to win a game this year in which they trailed by more than 1 run.

What’s Vaughn’s offensive ceiling?
Maggs is up there as one of my all time favorites. A couple of Maggs fun facts, he did a workout for Houston, but they weren't impressed and didnt sign him. He had a workout for the White Sox and the Sox scout was hours late. Maggs waited and got a contract. And the White Sox did expose him to the rule 5 draft. Nobody took him.

Nice Membership, Soxtalk
Is that dinner for 4? I once worked with someone who couldn't say 69 without saying dinner for 2 afterward.. It was funny the first few times.

Yoan Moncada seven years ago
He’s a great defender, but I was stunned at the amount of money he received.

Moncada and Javy Baez hav the same OBP and similar BA. Moncada has hit as many HR in about half the plate appearances.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
One thing that has changed is he cannot pitch right now.

G/T 6/15 White Sox (29-31) v Tigers (24-37) 12:30 Chgo time - Gonna be a hot one
TA should be back this weekend. You have to figure Mendick has played his way to a roster spot. Harrison is probably in his final days as a White Sox.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
If this is true, it's amazing the White Sox gave him the contract he has.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Thank God for Tony. Who else would have figured Lambert could close?

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Flexor strain. Not good news. It’s a pre-curser. Sale was diagnosed with a flexor strain in March of 2020. 2 weeks later it’s announced he is having TJS.

Hendriks now to IL with Right Forearm Strain
Does anyone know of any power pitcher who had a forearm strain that didn’t eventually get TJS.
