If you recall in spring training 2005, it was thought Buehrle broke his foot and was going to miss significant time. Another exam, however, revealed he was fine, and he won on Opening Day 1-0. Perhaps the luck has returned.

That's what I was thinking when they didn't have an answer yet. The only thing that may save it, is they just want to make sure, but it's not looking good for a quick recovery.

Good thing they agreed before Vaughn got hurt, becuase if he's out a while, there is nothing Tony would have loved more than penciling in Albert in the 4 hole.

JR's nightmare. Of all positions needing a replacement. If TA got hurt, getting a decent SS now would be tough. Pretty much the same with any other position . But not RF.

That is exactly how it went down with me when I had a hip pointer. It was almost a delayed reaction like when you stub your toe and it takes a couple of seconds to hurt. But if all he had was a hip pointer, we would most likely know by now.

Has anyone had any luck with Brooks or Reifert to get the ball rolling to send this guy packing?

It's a freak injury. Maybe he shouldn't be out in RF, but he played a lot of OF last year. He prepared this winter to play the OF. So it's not like they just threw him out there yesterday to see what he can do. Sometimes bad things just happen.

I guess bald jokes can only be directed at men. I didn't watch but saw the video. I've heard better bald jokes in my day, but Will was laughing until he got a look at the boss. Defending her is noble, but not in that way. He should have gone to jail. Rock refused to press charges but why should he have to, the incident is there for everyone to see.

Probably not a good sign there wasn't a more clear update. Must be something bad, just waiting to determine how bad.

I had a similar landing playing football with my friends many years ago. I had a hip pointer. I was OK in a few days. I didn't have a cart, but would have loved one.

Might want to recheck what I wrote. Also spring training or not, 10 straight strikeouts sets off an alarm or 2. If the Dodgers don't think they can get him fixed, I don't like the White Sox odds. If the Dodgers made him available for Kimbrel, I would be leery. I don't think they will. I think they will go down with the Bellinger ship if it sinks.

IMO, if the Dodgers are ready to dump Bellinger, the odds of the Sox fixing him are long.

Why would anyone expect Kimbrel to be in mid season form his first outing of spring training. I get that he has to go, but sucking during spring training isn’t anything new to him. Hendriks threw 94 his first outing. Every year spring training is taken way more seriously than it should.

I know Tony was part of the VV acquisition. I guess KW and RH must have been busy picking up JRs dry cleaning and lunch and missed Tony running the DBacks into the ground.

I don't think Our Chuck is allowed to talk about Harrison without saying he brings a lot of energy.

The Phillies could use him. They totally disregard defense. This season, the Phillies will probably be able to let everyone know how important defense, especially OF defense is, vs. having some serious sluggers.

The way this guy hit after missing so much time makes me wonder how good he may have been if he could have stayed healthy.

If I am a GM on a contending team in the middle of July and need a RF, I would much prefer a guy who has been playing than a guy who has been waiting.

As time has gone on, the use of pal has become very impersonal. You call someone pal or buddy that you don't know, you and they know what's up. I walk my dog, people call him buddy. I could be wrong, but I don't think Ray Ray wants to take me home and rub my belly.

There's also rumors he has long covid. Who knows what it true, but the fact that Boras spokesman Heyman has nothing indicates to me, he is going to be out there a while. Maybe they are now waiting for an injury.

And it's because Merkin re tweeted an article about him. In the article, 5 or 6 suitors were mentioned. One team was absent.

The QO expires after the draft. The draft is on July 17th this year. That isn't going to work well.

I think if he is not vaxxed that could be causing the hold up. Story wasn't vaxxed either. He just got it.
