  1. Wasn't he also not allowed in the lockerroom during the 1993 ALCS
  2. I don't think even Botch could have blown a 7 run lead against the Tigers. Maybe one of the other 28 teams in the MLB....but not the Tigers.
  3. I had forgotten about Carlos's 2-homer, 7 RBI game against the Cubs and Kerry Wood. He f***ing owned Kid-BB and Kid-Z that day. And Frank's homer off of Jesus Prior was pretty sweet too....but not a top 10 moment. The fact that Boy Wonder didn't pitch this year against us burns me....the pussy ass didn't want to get his ass lit up, because he knows we would have f***ed him up.
  4. No it wasn't. Doesn't mean it doesn't take out steam from them. Their lost today was a kick in the groin. Up 8-1, and you LOSE to the TIGERS? Not even our bullpen could do that.....unless Jose Paniagua pitched.
  5. When was the last time they played a good team? My point exactly (And no, the White Sox don't count....I said a GOOD team....not a team that will end with a semi-good record)
  6. Maybe with a burst of support, this ownership group will try to keep the nucleus together unlike Hyzengia(sp?) I agree. But we do need to get rid of a couple players....if we can get rid of Konerko/Thomas, that would be very good, and if we can retain Everett without having to play him in CF next year, that'd be even better(but that would include having to get rid of either Carlos or Maggs, or having one of them DH....I don't want to have to do that, though Carl could DH too). And bringing back Jose to be a super utility player wouldn't hurt either. I was more referring to the Marlins keeping their nucleus together this time around, but your right it would be nice to cut salary while keeping some talented players like Everett around on the White Sox. My only problem with Jose being retained as a utility player, is that sitting on the bench might ruin his attitude. Personally I think we should just let him free. Oh I know....if Florida keeps theirs together, they'll be a scary team next year as well. I just don't think they will. They are actually in a worse situation then us as far as resigning players will be concerned. I believe Derrek Lee is a FA, Lowell I know is, IRod is, Castillo is....that's a pretty good group of players right there, and something tells me they won't be able to resign them all. I would just like the Sox to keep theirs together too. And the thing about Jose is we'd use him almost everyday....probably 4 or 5 times a week, playing any position we need him to. We wouldn't use him like Tony where he gets 1 or 2 starts a week.

They step it up against Ohio State and beat them, and I could care less if Michigan loses the rest of their games(although they won't lost the rest of their games). I hate Ohio State....had to cheat to beat Miami last year. I think Michigan can run the table if they step it up offensively. Unfortunately, John Navarre is inhibiting the offense's ability to step up. This is true. John Navarre has to not suck, if that's possible.
  8. Yeah I saw the end of that game. I was wishing so much that USC would get the 1st on that 3rd and 17, and then I was hoping that they'd go for it and get it on 4th and 3 or 4. I've never really liked Tennessee either, and all they've done for me is give the Bills Travis Henry. They could do without Mr. Fumble for all I care....you can use any RB and have them rush for 1000 yards and not fumble it 10 times a year.
  9. BEGOOD....who do the Phins play this weekend.....I can't remember and am too lazy to look it up
  10. Many people believe Nelly is overrated. Mainly because of his affiliation with the St. Lunatics. Both have written many songs together, but Nelly is the one who gets credit. Country Grammar is a classic album, which seemed to showcase Nelly (and the St. Lunatics) talent before they started getting into hiphop. s*** like "shake your tailfeathers" is a disgrace to the type of music that earned him respect. Even worse is how P Diddy adds his one verse lyrics into that song. In the past year alone P Diddy has worked with: Nelly, B2K, Fabolous (a favorite of mine), Fat Joe (another terrible rapper), Usher, Big Tymers, and probably a few others. And EVERY single one of the songs sound exactly alike. But I am a hypocrite, in a way, because his song "Trade It All Part 2" is one of my favorite songs. I do like some of Nelly's songs(and all the songs that I listen to of his are on his Country Grammar album....didn't really like this past album), mainly Ride with Me. I just have never been fond of his newer songs. Air Force Ones was OK for about a week, and then got old, and Getting Hot in Herre got old quite quickly as well. As far as P Diddy is concerned...he has really gotten bad. His older stuff with Notorious BIG was great, and I'll be Missing You was pretty good too. I do agree that he has gotten quite bad. I haven't really listened to anything recent of his. And Fat Joe does suck. Haven't even bothered to listen to any of his music.

If ND had any offense, they might be decent. Carlysle Holiday and a freshman QB will give you no offense. Therefore, ND is not decent.
  13. You know what I have found out in the past two weeks? Baby mice grow almost as fast as my dick does when I see Jenna Jameson. Wow, 3 topics in one sentence....baby mice growing quickly, Jenna Jameson, and my dick. You go ahead and talk about all 3 if you want to.

    B.J. Symons

That's almost a record. Isn't the record for one player like 715 yards passing in 1 game? Regardless, that's one hell of a game.

  16. Off the top of my head, Olivo's granny off Estes....that pretty much set the tone Also...Jose's walkoff off Alfonsixa and Rowand's 2-run homer in the 8th to tie it up the very next day off of Alfonsixa again.....and then Alfonsixa pretty much crying after that....beautiful.

    Sox

And the Twins would be down 2-0 as well(if they play twice before then)
  18. ALDS NYY over MIN 3-2 BOS over OAK 3-2(again) NLDS ATL over CHI 3-0 SF over FL 3-2 ALCS BOS over NYY 4-3 NLCS SF over ATL 4-2 WS SF over BOS 4-1
  19. Couldn't tell you. I swear Oakland got a compensation pick from SF this year after they offered Durham arbitration, Durham turned it down, and he signed with SF.
  20. Osuna qualifies...but for every game I loved him there was a game I hated him. Oh I agree. But that one moment will stick with me for the rest of my life. No other closer has given me that(except Foulke, if you catch my drift )
  21. Agreed, and had I known that Mulder was out(I need to pay attention more), I would have voted for them. Willis, Beckett, Penny, Pavano and then Redman in the pen....that not only deepens and stengthens an already decent pen, but that rotation is sick. The only set back is the fact that between the 4 of them, I believe they have no playoff experience. The Cubs no playoff experience either though, so you can cancel that out. What's scarier is that AJ Burnett was out for the year with Tommy John surgery....if he comes back in July or August of next year at around 100%, he could be added to their pen and they'd have a pretty damn good pitching staff once again. It's just too bad that they probably will not be kept together with all their FA's this year..
  22. If you only need one save to qualify....Antonio Osuna. Scariest pitcher for Sox fans to ever wear the uniform....you knew your heart was going to race every time he came in. But his fist pump after he struck out that f***wad Sosa in the 5-4 win the day after the 13-9 beauty of a game was CLASSIC. Worth everything we ever gave up for him, IMO.
  23. I think it's the Giants turn. We all saw the effect Bonds had on everybody last year, and they ran into a team that was RED hot too and the Giants nearly beat them. This year I think the Giants are built even better then last year....they have a more balanced lineup and the Bonds effect will still be just as strong as it was last year. The depth they added in the offseason and at the trade deadline will be exposed here and will kill other teams. There are NO teams as deep as the Giants. And Bonds finally gets his ring.
  24. I think you can blame one man, and I hope by about 7:00 a clock tomorrow, he is no longer employed by the White Sox.
  25. I wish the White Sox were in the NL Central....they would have won it in a landslide.
