  1. But the Blue Jays eventually waived him in the prime of his career. First three Sox hitters 0/10.
  2. Baseball IQ. Looked to be running hesitated got caught scrambling back.
  3. Went to Hahn's high school right? Maine some direction...
  4. Post game ribeye and mashed potatoes calling out to Lynn.
  5. Only 9 pitchers in the majors with more IP than Lynn since 2011... Sigh: White Sox bullpen currently sporting a 6.5ish ERA.
  6. Braves know a little something about talent development.
  7. Guardians' rookie Battenfield with a perfect game against the Twins at home so far tonight... CLE with only one hit. 0-0.
  8. Can't throw center cut fastballs down to big league hitters.
  9. Kelly and Lynn and cash for Charlie Tilson 2... Except Cards are dead in the water this year too.
  10. Grandal has at least a couple thrown out... maybe 3? Zavala 1-2?
  11. Jimenez finally adjusting to low and away... Up and in with fb low and away with slider. Rinse and repeat formula. against Sox
  12. Heading for two hour game... at least until bullpen roulette.
  13. They have been really competitive... especially at home.
  14. As always, give the lead right back. Lynn 7.30 ERA. Dunning starting tonight at sub 2.0 era and obviously much cheaper.
  15. Dunn Griffey Jr. Cueto Todd Frazier the four high profile players who played for Sox after Cincy... Ofc Benintendi has Cincy as his hometown but played at Univ of Arkansas.
  16. Barreling up 100 mph even without the launch angle...
  17. How do you get Robert thrown out on a bunt? Bigger point, have to play for crooked number down 3 on the road. What does two runs do with the Sox bullpen? Still got lucky... Andrus guessing up in the zone and got it.
  18. Martin to the rotation? That won't work if they want to dump that now ugly contract in June/July...
  19. Had a feeling they were going to be ambushed on the road... yesterday took any remaining will to fight away. Robert starting to get hot again now. Not surprising against a fastball-dominant pitcher.
  20. The Reds are hungry…like the Orioles last year. Younger, and they hustle. Votto one of their few veterans remaining, and he has been out. Have been playing opponents pretty tough, the NL version of the Tigers in recent weeks. Greene might destroy the Sox lineup. Seems fans have been arguing Sox “more talented” all the way back to the Twins/Piranhas days…early 2000’s. JR’s whole scheme is essentially based on the belief that talent collections will gel eventually, but they usually don’t correlate to winning, team-oriented baseball.
