  1. Hey, my apartment is SARS infested. This is still an issue today.
  2. I've seen that on a t-shirt but still hilarious
  3. This is sooo like the Bears to win when I pick them to lose in the Pick a Loser contest. Props to them who played a pretty solid game from start to finish. I'll steer clear of the bandwagon for another week though since the Metrodome is usually where it gets derailed.
  4. I need the Bengals to win this for my Yahoo Pick em.
  5. Whoops, I haven't looked at any scores yet. Chicago Bears.
  6. Ugh, Furyk and Campbell choke away a 1up with 2 to play lead and get zero. Also Chris Riley is not playing this afternoon for some reason.
  7. US leading 3 matches today and just one down in the fourth. Still plenty of golf left in this tourney.
  8. I respect the Twins and I would like them more if they didn't beat us every year. The Cubs I just love to hate.
  9. I'd prolly cry if the White Sox won the World Series. Can't think of anything else that would really bring me close.
  10. Sutton really put alot of faith in Woods and Mickelson. Woods played well as far as his Ryder Cup history is concerned and probably as well as he's played all year. Mickelson was just plain awful down the stretch and really let Tiger down on 18 hitting that tee shot to the left side fence. It's time to break up the Mickelson Woods duo.
  11. Carlos showed that he is capable of being smart during his hitting streak. He still has mental lapses but his defense puts him a notch above Paulie in my opinion. He also can go first to third on a single more than once a season.
  12. Just wait til college, you have the option of sleeping in til 11am every day if you want. Then again there are consequences...
  13. To watch the Ryder Cup that is. Woods/Mickelson vs. Montgomerie/Harrington is the first match of the day. I'm not sure if having Woods and Mickelson, the two strongest US players, paired is such a great idea but it certainly will get some media attention. We'll see if the US is out to prove something after what happend in '02. It seems like we're the heavy favorites every time.
  14. Don't we usually get swept by the Twins twice a year? It's only happened once so far so...

  16. The Sox like to do this at the end of seasons. I know I sound really pessimistic but I no longer base expectations of the coming season on the previous September's meaningless games.
  17. With Mickelson winning his first major and Vijay taking over as #1, this has been a really great year of golf. I want to repeat what I heard from one of the commentators because it was so dead-on accurate as to what has happened this year. He said that to degree Tiger's game has diminished this year but people tend to overlook guys like Mickelson, Els, and Singh and how they have really brought their games to a new level. Tiger really raised the bar for everybody including himself and now it will be interesting to see if he can bring himself back to that level. I am really looking forward to the Ryder Cup in a couple weeks as a capper to this great season.
  18. Guys, do yourself a favor and watch the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship on ABC starting at 2pm. Even if you don't like golf, it is a rare opportunity to see the #1 and #2 ranked players in the world tee off together with that #1 ranking on the line. Tiger Woods has been ranked #1 for a record 264 consecutive weeks, but Vijay Singh has finally caught up with him. All Vijay has to do is finish higher than Tiger to oust him. Right now he leads by three strokes going into the final day. This is just about the closest thing there is to a championship title in golf these days with the world ranking system. History may be made today.
  19. Twins have played 135 games with a record of 77-58. Sox have played 134 games with a record of 67-67. If the Twins go 13-14 in their final 27 games the Sox can TIE them with a record of 23-5 in 28 games. Checkmate.
  20. I missed it but congrats Willie on getting yourself on the board this season. Let's see I think Jamie Burke is due next.
  21. I wonder if he will be selling the erroneous one on Ebay.
  22. He is like Mark Buehrle with a better fastball and changeup.
