  1. I just saw it, didn't look to bad, but come on now. It doesn't matter. I agree with Harold Reynolds...the security guard did his job, and I give him a big thumbs up...he sprinted his ass over there, way to go Mr. Security Guard.
  2. It is awesome. I do not play it, but I watch it all the time in my neighbors. He is a level 45. Three of my other friends are 60s. I would play it, but costs alot of money. I don't like alot of stuff like that, but there is so much to it, you can't help but watch it. I give it a thumbs up, and that is from a guy who only plays baseball and grand theft autos.
  3. I was pinned in the semifinals of a state wrestling tournament in 58 seconds. That sucked pretty bad. It was 8th grade, but still probably as bad as it gets. The kid who pinned me caught me in a nasty craddle...he stuck the kid in the finals in 2:00 though.
  4. I like Chacin, so I picked him up in a league for fun.
  5. I can't believe this, but go Yankees. Fans need to know their place. You jump on a wrestling mat as a fan, your getting hurt. I don't get fans no-a-days. Fans like this are ruining the events for everyone.
  6. Scary story...well I forgot about random drug tests for sports, and one of my buddies got one, and I was like oh s***, thank God I didn't have to do it, cause, well, needless to say someone would have failed that test. Oops. Haha.
  7. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 05:38 PM) I just finished winning my 10th World Series. White Sox fans, I've built a winner for you guys!!!! Honestly, I don't understand the point of just doing sim. I like playing against my buddies, and then putting in games on MVP with guys I like (Amezaga, Santos, de la Rosa, and guys along those lines). I may not win all my games, but I really enjoy it. If you have fun doing what you're doing, I am more than behind you, but if you're that good, just play at the hardest level, and if you do, I wish you fun playing.
  8. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 04:16 PM) Bonderman is a lh pitcher? He must be damn good to be one of the top 3 lefties, yet only use his rh? Bonderman Bonderman Age: 22 Height: 6-2 Weight: 220 lbs. Bats: Right Throws: Right Pos: SP SB Haha, awesome. Even funnier than. That one got past me...I can't wait to f*** them over on this now.
  9. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) He needs to hook up with Leo Mazzone. Sure, but what does that have to do with baseball? They can't trade him unless they get a starter. Their staff is already a huge Q, I don't see how this would make sense.
  10. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 14, 2005 -> 02:10 AM) Wow. The Tigers' supposed ace, Jeremy Bonderman, is not any better than our 5th starter, Jon Garland. Dmitri Young is better than Frank? WTF? Has your friend ever even looked at some stats in his life? :headshake No, it's like five people, and I am all by myself defending the stats. I actually wrote Bonderman, Garland, Ryan Franklin, Mike Maroth, and Mark Henderickson's stats from last year down with no name, and its all the same. Yet, get this (I forgot to add it yesterday), Bonderman is a top three lefty power pitcher, probably top two. Um, RJ and Santana? I said no way, Santana is so much better. So that's the s*** I get to deal with in MI.
  11. Trammell is suppose to like Higginson. That is what Tigers fans say. Who knows? I just spent tonight getting told the Tigers have better pitching that the Sox, and the Sox will finish no better than 4th in the ALC. Also that Dimitri Young is a ton better than Frank Thomas, no contest. Drives me crazy.
  12. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) i found it on google in 10 seconds. Just out of curiosity, what did you look up?
  13. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 13, 2005 -> 12:31 PM) You find winning boring??? You have to consistantly put out a winner(cheap one) to get fans in the seats and to make profit to upgrade your stadium. I also started out with a low budget(even though I failed 3 times with a medium budget) and it's been hard as hell to get where I'm at, but it makes it that much better. Seriously, how could you hate winning?? Anyway, I finished with a record of 130-32. My 24year old 3B won the MVP with a .372BA, 39HR's, 102RBI's, 52SB, & 178Runs. That's great considering he was my leadoff hitter. Jesus Brown won his 3rd consecutive Cy Young with a 26-3 Record in 253.2IP. He has a 1.81ERA 220K's and 55 Walks. I swept the Silver Slugger Awards, but only had 2 GGers despite having the best fielding team. Pitching Rotation: Jesus Brown: 26-3, 1.81ERA, 220K's Octavio Urban: 23-4 2.41ERA, 188K's Juan Bradford: 22-5 3.30ERA 158K's Dennis Randa: 16-6 3.83ERA 152k's Olmeda Cesar: 7-1 3.19ERA 38K's(67.2IP because McCarthy got injured) I think everyone of us could do that on Rookie. I would actually do a hell of alot better. I wouldn't lose a Pro game either...I find playing like that boring.
  14. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 12, 2005 -> 09:39 PM) Carlos Lee hit a line drive off Mark Redman's knee today knocking him to the ground and eventually out of the game the next inning when Redman experienced stiffness in the knee. THE KNEE SEEKER!!! For anyone who knows Illinois athletics...dare I say Cassio Pero?
  15. They deserve to lose. I wouldn't even let the take the team plane next game, I'd make them take a bus. They looked bush league in the last few minutes. Geez.
  16. QUOTE(T R U @ Apr 11, 2005 -> 11:11 AM) How the hell do you walk, I never walk.. Ive played 20 games on my Sox season and the only walks to my team are Intentional I just cant ever seem to walk, maybe because I swing at every pitch? but even when I take a few balls and the count is like 3 - 1 I still never walk.. can I get some tips from you? Im tired of having my teams batting avg be the exact same as there OBP Tips? Play MVP and put the controller down. Thats the tip. There is no reason to swing too, because all those balls are unhittable anyways. It drives me crazy.
  17. Does anybody else walk a ton? I have trouble hitting the best pitchers, so I will have like 2 hit, yet have 7 runs. I have walked over 20 times in a game before. It gets kind of annoying.
  18. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Apr 9, 2005 -> 12:31 AM) Judy has a boo-boo
  19. I like the Cubs jerseys with no names on them. Also laughing as someone says "Jenkins, you stink" so you could hear it on tv.
  20. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 09:19 AM) Hmm.. raise ticket prices by about 25% .. and wow you can increase the payroll by about 25%.. When I got my season tix in 03, they were about 1400.. The next year they wanted 1650...do It was only a 18% increase in 04..Now this also doesn't take into account the increase in parking, concession stand, and beer prices.. and wow.. there comes the increase in payroll. Still The owners are not putting anything into this team..We are..Until the owners show they that care as much about this team as we do I don't see us getting any top FA.. down the line.. I still think Mags is right.. they don't care about winning, they care about money. Seriously? You want owners to go into debt? Look at the Diamondbacks...I can't believe you would say that. If you owned the team, would you put a ton of extra money into it? I doubt it, also, we're in the top half of salaries, what is wrong with you people?
  21. QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 09:40 AM) I heard on the radio as Schoeneweis was sitting in the pen some fan kept heckling him and when they finally looked to see who it was it was Billy Koch. Koch bought 250 tickets to the game expecting to be playing but instead was sitting with the school kids he bought the tickets for.
  22. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Apr 5, 2005 -> 10:03 AM) http://www.canada.com/national/nationalpos...3a-c7e4bca5f53a What the hell is a passport? It's a kind of wild turkey...
