They're good, and they know they're good. They'll be in the race for Lee, and if they don't get him, they'll get someone. Their starters are really letting them down right now and they have to upgrade. That being said I'd rather be in first going into the ASB but that is contingent on the Sox performance.

I hope the Rangers get him, since I like that team and the Sox don't play them at all in the second half.

He's not trying to hit the ball 400 feet every time, at least from what i've seen. Improved bat speed = not looking foolish so often.

Yeah, it just seems like Dunn is a better fit overall, as he is both cheaper to acquire, and his inevitable departure can be used to replenish the farm during a loaded draft.

To be fair what this team has done over the last 2 weeks has been pretty unbelievable.

I mean, basically anyone would be better. It's just how much better and how much will it cost. I think the Sox could replace Williams internally and do better for cheap, but the result wouldn't be a LHP.
