What Has Spring Training Showed You?
That I want the season to start now. It's been too long not seeing any baseball for me.

SF interested in Borchard?
Who do the Giants have backing up Ray Durham at second base at the moment? Because you know he'll probably get injured sometime this season, and they could use a quality backup like Harris if they don't have one already. I like the idea of going after some of the Giants' young arms, Sox should definitely be looking into it.

NO Sox Coverage
QUOTE(T R U @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 10:33 AM) even when Magglio was here the payroll was still in the high 70's If we had a $95 payroll we could have Maggs, Colon, and prolly a few other solid players plugged into this team.. But would you pay Colon and Ordonez the deals that they are on now?

Fox Sports Big Impact Rookies
QUOTE(hi8is @ Mar 27, 2005 -> 06:44 AM) this s*** worries me: Jesse Crain, RP, Twins Crain won't notch many saves in his first full season in the majors, but he's arguably the best relief prospect in the game. In 162 career minor league innings, Crain has struck out 207 and walked only 53. Most impressively, he's coughed up only five homers over that span. He's a classic power reliever, with a mid-90s fastball and late-breaking slider. He'll be setting up Joe Nathan for this year, but don't be surprised if he's racking up saves for the Twins in future seasons. Long-term grade: A- There's more Twinkies pitching prospects from where that came from.

The Redskins are on the clock
I'm going with Pac Man Jones if he falls to them. And Williamson will go above Mark Clayton, that is pretty much a given.

Bulls-celtics.
The Wizards are limping home, Larry Hughes is complaining about his role on offense, the Bulls should get home court advantage.

QUOTE(rangercal @ Mar 26, 2005 -> 03:39 PM) just read this entire thread. and I agree with you. everyone here never gave this guy the benefit of the doubt. oh well. The Vikings are on the clock
The Vikings are going to have these 5 linebackers if they draft DJ. I predict a trade down. Johnson, Cowart, Thomas, Henderson, Harris.

Austin Bracket
Utah within 6 in the 2nd half, Bogut needs to get goin from the field, been great on the boards though.
-
A Trade?
Crede = No way he'll get traded now. Borch and Harris I could possibly believe. A guy like Wilson Betemint? from the Braves might not make the 25 man roster, and could be waived IIRC, and I know the Nats were very interested in him.

Austin Bracket
Now let's all pull together for the Bogut Watch.

QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 03:52 AM) AS am I..being a fly ball pitcher.. scares me. That really shouldn't be the main reason to worry about him, Garcia's a flyball pitcher and most people aren't too worried about him.

Which limo should I take?
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 04:30 PM) This begs the question: They have proms down under? I guess you guys couldn't take your dates to Outback afterwards huh? Simply not the same. No Proms down here (if you read the whole other thread), we've mainly got Formal's and Deb's down here instead. And considering I live about 20 minutes on the outskirts of Melbourne, no I guess you can't really take your girl out to the Outback. We're all not Outback Jacks down here.

Which limo should I take?
QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 01:16 PM) Enjoy living your life remembering those great days at...High School. Get your priorities straight, High School and prom in general mean absolutely nothing. Take it from a guy who spent far too much money on prom. In ten years, no one talks about how he or she had a great time at prom. High School is a gigantic waste of time and should be remembered as such. Drinking yourself silly is a far better waste of your money. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

The Vikings are on the clock
Wow this is a hard pick to say the least, because they've actually filled their needs on their LB's and CB's with the acquisitions of Sam Cowart and Fred Smoot. So I'm going to say a suprise pick in Troy Williamson since Edwards and Williams will most likely be off the board.

The Titans are on the clock
QUOTE(T R U @ Mar 25, 2005 -> 08:50 AM) dude the Titans lost both their CB's Dyson and Rolle... I think they will be taking Pac Man Jones And that's what makes this such an interesting pick. I just thought since they've lost Derrick Mason and Justin McCareins from their receiving corps over the past 2 seasons, it's been getting a little thin. Chow will probably want to use some 3 receiver sets, and even though Calico should be back, he probably can't be counted on making it through a whole season. With the new defensive rules, it's probably more important to take a good receiver over a good cornerback these days. This is a deep CB draft as well, so they can easily select a starter in the 2nd or 3rd round as well. I think #6 is still a little early for Pac-Man, and maybe the Titans can trade down to selct him or Rolle or even Alex Barron.
