But I just don't see that as likely, and Bruce is the type of player that have not worked out well for the Sox at all in recent history.

It was time for Buerhls to move on when he did. But I wouldn't be against trading Quintana for king's ransom (hopefully mainly positional players) and signing Buehrle to a 2 year $15-20M deal this offseason. I don't think he makes much sense in the rotation if Sale, Rodon and Q are all in it already.

It is sort of strange. But I suppose since two of the Sox more MLB-ready prospects are 2B, they'd rather get them the reps over there. But it is surprising that they haven't at least given him an extended run of ABs at 2B..what is there to lose?
