  1. Let’s be honest here...Vaughn’s baldness is an issue. Was his hair this bad when drafted? Should have been a huge red flag. He needs to shave that shit instantly and hope he looks tough with a baldy.
  2. See the ball get by the infielder and you go...who woulda thought a great diving play off a ricochet would happen? Better D than bad base running
  3. Los is going to be lucky to go 5. Who’s ready for multi innings out of the pen? Foster going to be up today? Assume it won’t be either Kopech or Crochet
  4. It’s crazy, a bunt is basically a free RBI and not even a thought of doing it
  5. Red Sox pitcher was born in Hong Kong and stone said something along the lines of “lucky he got out when he did”...nothing horrible, but never know nowadays what can and can’t be said
  6. Was curious if anyone else caught that. Was an awkward silence from Jason after, he wanted nothing to do with that lol
  7. Saddest part is that JR will never admit he made a mistake with LaRussa. We’re stuck with a lot of talent with an anchor attached to them by poor ownership
  8. Feel like Foster has really fell out of favor...mostly because Tony left him in a terrible spot that 1 outing.
  9. Sure in a perfect world it would be electronic. But the fact is that that are indeed umps significantly better than others (at 90+% accurate) just standing in the field most of the time is crazy to me. The umpires that grade out better than others should be paid to be behind the plate as often as possible while they still keep plate umpires
  10. Crazy mlb does nothing about this...this guy shouldn’t ever be allowed behind the plate again. Bending over and calling balls and strikes isn’t exactly hard work, I don’t understand why they just don’t leave the best guys of an umpire crew behind the plate. A little extra $ for doing so shouldn’t be that difficult either
  11. He was a bad draft pick at the time, can’t take that back now. The fact that he’s developed himself into a more than a passable defensive C and is worthy of a roster is at least a plus at this point. What teams backup catcher hits well?
  12. Good got Eaton, just bunt the run in. They are giving the run away. Just an awful at bat
  13. I’ll just say that if it were certain other players on the team there wouldn’t be that excuse. It was a bad defensive play
  14. Ok just run on this catcher pretty much every time
  15. That was a slow catcher running. 100% should have had a play at the plate. Wasn’t able to get a clean handle and then an inaccurate throw
  16. Need your CF to be able to make that a play at the plate on a slow C running. Bad play by Robert
  17. Such bad hitting with RISP. Gotta take advantage or these games are lost real quick. We’ve seen it enough already this year
  18. And this is where 1 bad call by the umpire can ruin an entire game...
  19. Perfect pitch and doesn’t get the call...tough
  20. Congrats you win. But I’d say if you ask the team/people within the organization it’s Jose But in terms of fans (especially nationally) and the media Id say it’s TA
  21. “Don’t get me wrong, it’s very early and I still have plenty of faith in Vaughn” That was in my post. Not sure if you’re criticizing me or genuinely asking? But I think starting him on the opening day roster was as close to pushing the chips all in...can’t pull them back on the flop, gotta see it through. For me that would be at least until the end of May getting regular AB’s. If after 150 AB’s he’s still late on 93 mph fastballs right down the middle like he was last night I’ll start questioning what’s wrong and call for someone else to get playing time
