Sox have been aggressive with promotions this year no doubt. I didn't think Danish was worthy of moving to Charlotte but he has held his own so far. Fulmer and Anderson were also aggressive promotions. The aggressive pitching promotions make me wonder if they are tied with recent rumors about the Sox potentially moving a SP or two. Anyway, glad to see Adams get promoted.

I don't know if the other stuff is true or not but I believe the part that JR wants to win now and is the reason why the FO keeps pushing for a winner. Has there ever been an 80 year old owner that went full rebuild on their team? I love the idea of trading away assets to rebuild and as a fan, yes I would easily endure the growing pains of a youth movement but I just don't think it will happen due to JR's age and desire to have one last winner. The SOX are stuck at the Nexus of the universe with JR.

If I had to chose between Longoria and Frazier, I would chose Frazier every time because that Longoria contract is an albatross.

Great stuff as I've come to expect from FS. So what happens with May? Does May shift to LF or can we expect to see May with the Sox as a 4th outfielder?
