Fansided 2017 Top 125 MLB Prospects
The videos of Lopez and Moncada are both worth watching. Moncada simply looks like an elite athlete. Lopez had electric stuff that night against Atlanta.

Danks to the Braves
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Dec 13, 2016 -> 03:13 AM) So, off the top of my head, we have Linebrink, Greg Walker/Scott Fletcher, AJ, Tyler Flowers, Bonifacio, Beckham, Danks all going to ATL after the Sox...who else? Javy "Stones" Vazquez

Your response to Sale getting traded to the Red Sox
Last chance for Rick Hahn to figure it out but it was time for a different approach.

Headline Report
Nats aren't trading Turner. And weren't there reports that Rodon and Turner didn't get along at NC State?

White Sox to Move Eaton?
i wouldn't be surprised. sell high. clubhouse lawyer. Prone to injuries. heard he asked to move his locker to a different spot last season because everything wasn't peachy keen in his area.

The Stay or Go Game
Sale - Goes. Management tired of him. Quintana - Stays. Good guys. Good price. One more year of control than Sale. Robertson - Goes. Salary dump. No need for expensive closer on rebuilding team. Frazier - Goes. Salary dump. Davidson gets his chance. Jones - Stays. New Closer. Abreu - Stays. Although I wouldn't be shocked if he was a goner, too. Melky - Goes. Somebody needs a DH Eaton - Stays. Somebody has to stay. Jennings - Stays. No other lefties in the house. Lawrie --also goes

Jason Coats
if the plan is to rebuild, fine with using him as 4th outfielder, platoon guy, pinch hitter. from what I saw from him, he doesn't have any plus tools. not much power. Not much speed. So-so arm. OK fielder. He has hit for average. His best quality is he's cheap.

Baseball America Sox Top 10
either the 2016 draft was great or the system was worse than I thought. To have five of top 10 picked last June is revealing Also so far it appears that the revamped efforts in Latin America isn't producing much. Another bad sign.

MLB Trade Rumors Predictions
QUOTE (aryzner @ Nov 8, 2016 -> 02:53 AM) I think the Sox will sign AJ again. I don't want them to, but I think they'll do it. Just a feeling I have. AJ isn't walking through that door. He's done. He won't be in the big leagues next season.

Chris Getz to take over player development
The Player Development bar is so low that Terry Bevington could be expected to show some improvement.
-
Zach Duke Tommy John Surgery
You mean Tilson with the bad hammy? That Tilson? Trade just evened out.

Arizona Fall League Starts Today
Hayes is a former Oregon State star. Been around a few years. Not enough power to be a big-league first baseman in my opinion.

Cooper has extension offer
I remember the guy Cooper followed -- Nardi Contreras. It could be worse. Much worse.

Vomit-inducing: LaRoches will throw out first pitch
That's the best they've got is LaRoche? Seems like a shot at the White Sox.

Conor Gillaspie hits game winning homerun
Time for Gillaspie and Samardzija to step up. They owe White Sox fans that much, especially Jeffy.

Renteria to Replace Ventura
QUOTE (Black_Jack29 @ Oct 3, 2016 -> 07:57 PM) No, he's one of the guys that you sign to an extension ASAP and build around. That's not the way Scott Boras rolls.

Baseball America: League Top 20's
So Baseball America not fans of Fisher and Schnurbusch? I guess Call missing the list is not surprising because he got promoted. But ... the other two left out because of age or projected limitations?

9/23 White Sox at Indians
Only question is how many days after the season will they wait to give Robin the ziggy. Didn't ozzie quit with a day or two to go to take that Miami job?

Who Will Be The Next Manager of the White Sox
Renteria seems highly thought of by many in baseball. Solid communicator who is bi-lingual, which is an advantage. wouldn't be that expensive. Considering how long Dave Martinez has been rumored to be a guy that SOMEBODY would hire and it has never happened, i wonder if he has some baggage or red flags. Alomar has the ex-Sox qualification that seems to matter, but he was only with the team a few seasons and not a homegrown guy. Bud Black had a run (two winning seasons in 8 1/2 years at SD) and not won much (although that was also once said about Joe Torre). I'd like to see them go outside the box and find somebody Beyond that group of names. What about Torey Lovello, Red Sox bench coach, John Russell, Orioles bench coach or Steve Buechele, Rangers' bench coach and a Stanford guy? Raul Ibanez is another guy that many people tout -- along with Gabe Kapler.

2017 Lineup
After watching this ineptitude against Ian Kennedy, trade all of them.
-
2017 Lineup
Saladino is an upgrade over Lawrie because he is 10 cents on the dollar and a better fielder. Play either Lawrie or Frazier at third. Trade the other. Need 2 bats in these three spots -- LF, CF or DH. I'm ready for Melky to go, go, go because if we're going to pick one corner outfielder to keep, it has to be Eaton. The biggest improvement has to come in the pen. Spending money no guarantee there. 1b -- Abreu 2b -- Sally SS -- Timmy 3b -- Fraz/Lawrie C -- Navarez/newbie LF -- Newbie CF -- Newbie RF -- Eaton DH -- Morneau/Newbie Bench -- Garcia, Coats, maybe Shuck or Newbie 1S -- Sale 2S -- Q 3S -- Rodon 4S -- Gonzalez 5S -- Newbie CL -- DRob RBP - -- Jones LBP -- Jennings The other four/five bullpen spots up for grabs -- Putnam, Burdi, Fulmer, Clark, newbies bye bye -- Avila, Sanchez, Beck, Shields, Turner, Kahnle, Albers, Ynoa, AJax,
