Yeah, and this was the good part. The bad part is the 5 years of watching Heuer and Madrigal play for the Cubs. Hahn’s track record of trading for veterans is abysmal. He has made some of the worst value trades in MLB history.

I would for sure trade Kimbrel. You’re not gonna get close to what you gave up, but $30 mil in the bullpen is a ridiculous way to allocate resources.

McClure might be their most important pitching prospect heading into next year. With Stiever’s somewhat concerning injury, the Sox pitching depth is like Lambert, McClure, then… I dunno Emilio Vargas? Pitching staff had pretty good health this year, wouldn’t count on it for next year, though. in the pen Caleb Freeman has been doing pretty well at Charlotte.
