i like Baldwin, but not sure he's a everyday outfielder. He's a good defender at 3b and I don't think Elko is a high-probability mlb player. Maybe move Vargas to 1b? He's better over there.

Another HR for Baldwin. Hard to justify keeping throwing at bats away on Rojas, but it’s a huge jump from AAA.

Yeah, I was shocked how bad Gonzalez looked when I first saw him in Kanny. Has never been more than a borderline prospect from the minute he was drafted. But he went 1-15. Madrigal was 1-4. Gonzalez is a tool shed compared to Madrigal. He can at least play adequate ss, and might be a decent utility player. I took heat on this board for unfavorably comparing Madrigal to Nicky Lopez. Turns out, he wishes he was Little Nicky.

Pretty good debut for Wikelman. The stuff looks legit. Tough on the debut to come out for another inning. Wonder if they’re gonna give him some run.

Varland is pitching in the ACL, so he's trending in the right direction. Otherwise, this team is at a pretty low ebb. Lose 8 in a row, most of them close, and lose a bunch of SP.

Another HR for Brooks. Man, Capra and Rojas had better be playing some pretty good defense.

Jordan Hicks’ contract offsets some of it. It’s possible that they have soured on Harrison, but how do you throw Tibbs into the deal too? First of all, bad for Tibbs. He’s 1b/dh compared to Red Sox outfielders, but also, the Giants farm system is not deep. Dumping one of the few hitters you do have is a head scratcher. Anyway, good move for the Wrong Sox.

Wolkow HR. The upward trend continues.

Zavala 2-2 up to .254 ops .733. With his D, he doesn’t have to hit much more than that to be a legit prospect again. Seems like a good kid. Really rooting for him.

Right now? No question OF. He has played a a lot of CF this year. For a huge guy, he runs very well. Throws well too. Big question is the hit tool.

Keep in mind, Wolkow is younger than Bonemer. He is very young still for the level.

Now 3-3 hitting .230. Love to see him hitting singles. The power is gonna play eventually, he just needs to be a good hitter. The rest will take care of itself.
