With more guys being available, I don't see us getting much back for Shark. I think he finishes the season with the team and we collect the draft pick. Lets hope he signs early in the off-season so we can get an earlier pick in that round.

If the Sox potentially see him as a reliever long-term, maybe other teams do too. What if the Sox were showcasing him to package him with Samardzija to a team that needs a starter and another reliever? That would certainly have to interest Houston and Toronto into giving something real up.

Gonna go with yes, but not in a Sox uni. Not saying they trade him now but when he is able to hit open market, they won't pay what it'll take to keep him.
