White Sox vs Twins 7:10 PM CT Detwiler vs Berrios
I dont know where else to put my extreme exasperation at all the injuries throughout the organization. Holy fucking shit. I hope this horrible luck is behind us when were ready to compete.

Official NHL COVID season thread
A good defensive defenseman, which the Hawks really needed. Upside is a Nik Hjalmarsson type of player.

GT Chicago vs Chicago, 6/19/19, 7:05 CT
I was wondering about this as well. I've got tickets but I am not driving into the city an hour and a half just to have to turn around and come back.

What the FUCK he swung at an outside pitch and STILL tried to get out of the way.

Anyone else think that should have been a triple?

Hawk on Wrigley
I didn't even really enjoy Wrigley as a visitor. No craft beer anywhere near the bleachers. Gotta walk a mile to go to the bathroom or find anything else to drink but beer. They randomly closed smoking areas. Cant tailgate.

Sox vs Yankees 6/14 - 7:10PM
Wow Jose pulling a ball when he was seemingly completely trying to push it to RF. Nice set up to get his pitch.

Job Thread
While true, many nowadays are cognizant of how employees are treated with respect to benefits in more progressive countries. We are behind, and no matter the environment I think it is fair to expect better from employers. I do appreciate the angle you bring, though, as I hadn't considered it. Thank you.

Job Thread
I think as a whole our society is transitioning away from feeling this way. You are #1 in your life. If your company sucks, no point in working there. If they aren't serious about improving the work-life of their employees right now, maybe they will be after they experience ridiculous turnover and the expenses associated with it. Companies like this will eventually become a dying breed.

Gotta give McCann credit for trying to frame that headhunter.

Sox vs. Yankees - 6/13 7:10pm
Man, he seemed like a semi capable hitter last year... but this year.. and missing a fastball right down the middle. Was he seriously sitting on offspeed!? Thats really bad.

Official NHL COVID season thread
I dont care for either franchise, but overall Im pleased the Blues won based on the simple fact that Boston teams have won enough championships lately. Also, I find it really cool that they were basically just as bad as the Hawks when the season started and then won it all. The Hawks should use this as extra motivation.

White Sox @ Royals 1:15pm CST. Giolito vs Keller
Wow its like the DH spot is coded into the 5-hole and literally cannot be changed. That is just awful lineup management.

6/7 White Sox @ Royals (7:15 PM)
Yonder is so bad. Please get rid of him.

6/7 Games
Gotta hand it to the guy, broke his back and playing through the pain.

Is Ricky Renteria once again simply a placeholder manager?
I'm inclined to believe that Ricky's become "one of JRs guys" and as such, has all the job security in the world. It's too much of the status quo for me to believe that he's a placeholder. Unfortunately, we may have to see our team winning despite his shortcomings and ultimately losing some winnable games as well. I look forward to the community meltdowns.

When will Luis Robert be promoted again?
Calling up Robert before the end of April 2020, along with his already-hefty bank account could also provide him some incentive to forego the arbitration process and sign a long term contract similar to Eloy's.

When Madrigal gets to the White Sox...
That works for me as long as Collins hits his ceiling. an OBP slugging machine in the 6, 7 or 8 spot? Sign me up.
