No love for Gonzalez?

I like him a lot too.  The Sox have 6 or so shining prospect OFs, but  the Sox just need to let this all play out.  It's too early to pick and choose which are the keepers.

How many times does the same exact injury need to happen the same exact way before they either make him wear a sliding glove or make him slide feet first?

I doubt anyone else here is attending Cubs spring training.

  • The original problem is still the same — “same FO staff from 2008.” No one has any confidence in Hahn, Kenny, and JR to seize the opportunity and spend money when a perfect time like now becomes

I read a post on Facebook saying that the Charlotte announcer was calling the game the other day and he noticed Eloy was hitting with a new stance. I really hope that wasn't Steverson pushing for a change because why fix something that isn't broken?

So if you live where Spring Training is would you prefer to see other teams in action.  Nothing really excites me to see the Sox this season.  Sometimes I enjoy baseball when my emotion is not attached to it.

I believe he was talking about his  front foot placement and asking if it was new, at least that's what I thought the was getting at when I was listening to the broadcast.  If that's what he was referring to, Eloy's been using that stance for a while.  Here's a HR from the Dash and one from last May & August.

Here's some video of an ST at bat where he's doing the same thing.

I don't think it's anything new, maybe it's more exaggerated at times, but most likely just an oversight on his part?  If it wasn't about that them I've just wasted a lot of time going down an Eloy rabbit hole lol.

Yeah he shouldn't be trying to PLAY BASEBALL! What is he thinking?

On a serious note we need to work with him on his sliding and avoiding hurting his thumb...

Apparently he slid feet first the 1st time he hurt his thumb

Ozzie has left ESPN. Could he be taking over for Beltin Melton on the pre and post game shows.

Is anyone worried about Eloy’s conditioning?

He’ll have to watch what he eats, but he’s just a huge human...so is Adolfo.

Eloy will be a 1b/DH sooner than later.

I want Melton to go but I don't think Ozzie is who I would be pining for

I like Jesse Crain on the webcasts, maybe him or Pods.
