And let’s STOP ALL THIS VAUGHN TRADE TALK. We are not going to trade a guy who might be as good as hitter as anyone on our team and who will be our starting ist  baseman for the next 10 years. His bottom is  280-30 -90.

I have to think Cub fans were saying this about Eloy a few years ago.

No way I'm reading 5 years of Kopech for 2 years of Clevinger.

Either would I. For some reason people keep throwing his name out there tho

I need a drink.

Hopefully they get something done today. Surprised they didn’t move it up to today considering it’s a travel day. Hugwatch would be insane.

That’s an immediate hang up the phone if your the Whitesox

Should be Sox

I’m all for trading Kopech. Just not within the division. So if we have to see Kopech kill us for 5ish years it will sting

This.

The tricky part is Kopech has hardly pitched a game in the majors. You don’t know who your going to get. That’s the one thing about prospects or any prospect as a matter of fact.

You have fun with that call if it happens and fire back Jimenez for Bieber.

The White Sox, because trading away 40 homers/year for the next 6 years for a #3 SP for 2 years is idiotic

Assuming the return would be worth it in either case (you define what that means), would you rather trade Cease or Dunning?

40 is the baseline too. Wouldn’t shock me in the least to see Eloy hot 60 bombs in a full healthy season down the road.

The Sox say no. You don't trade a talent like Eloy. Well, unless you're the Cubs ?
