Dunning probably has one more inning in him before pitch count.

I would give him eight innings. Johnny Vander Meer?? Pitched two in a row.

They still can.

Yep.

All Magic does is hit.

Is Madrigal hitting .400 yet?

Madrigal duck snort!

I don't care how hard Nick hits the ball, he is fun

Madrigal, shades of mid 2000's Twins teams.

Madrigal 2/2.    .391 BA.

A threat for .400, haha.

That swing Madrigal took yesterday without breaking his bat on that high and inside pitch is an amazing illustration of what "good hands" means for a hitter.

Only 10-12 players in MLB can do that.

He's a little guy, but that takes a lot of hand strength.

Nick going to be a excellent player never K’s

He is one of those guys that will just annoy the beans out of you if you are the opponent.

His exit velocity numbers are totally fine. He can be an awesome hitter with the 86.5 average EV & 112 max EV that we've seen. Madrigal hits the ball harder than he gets credit for.

Madrigal must be an insanely frustrating hitter to face.

Bubic is distracted by Madrigal.

I think Nick will eat soft tossing lefties alive

Are we sure Nick Punto isn't wearing #1 for the Sox with all of these ridiculous gork shots?

Start thinking, go Madrigal.....immediately rethinks, maybe not such a great idea, he's going to get hurt again.

Oh Nicky...

Started 0-11, and has been on base in every game he has played since.

Guys like Madrigal break the pitchers concentration.

Dunning's mechanics are on-par with Giolito's.

Cooper needn't.

Memo to Cease / Lopez:

Take copious notes.

Now Bubic with 6 K's.   78 total pitches.

Anderson at .571 against LHP?  Is that accurate?

Jimenez looking bad today, just not picking up the ball in a day game.    Bubic career high with 7 k's now.

He’s like our Nick Punto Vs the Sox all the time

And DON'T trade James McCann, either.

Agreed.  I've been saying they should extend him for a while.  He just handles the staff so well when he catches.
