The last 2 managers Hahn have hired are Ventura and Ricky.  Maybe it is better that he didn't make the hire.

Give me either of them over this.

It's almost enough to make me believe that "always finish second" shit and that he is personally trying to make his philosophy happen.

Now let’s hire Ozzie as bench coach and manager in waiting!    Do that and we have a dynasty brewing on the south side!

I unironically love this idea

Lol you think the white Sox did any long term thinking or advance planning here?

Yes.  I think everything they do is very calculated.  They know the captain obvious talking points with LaRussa.  I’m going to let them address that before I get all mad like a little kid.  Let’s hear them out.

KW hired Ventura. Hahn extended him after a successful 63 win season, blame him for that, Kenny hired him.

Odds that he dies before next season starts?

Lol, truth though.

I'm literally sick to my stomach over this.  For all the hard work...the seemingly forever of building this young team of studs...for the the patience of a fan base that's waited for a team like this to arrive...for Reinsdorf to absolutely kick everybody in the nuts for his own personal bullshit is a little more than I can fathom.  What an absolute kick in the nuts to everybody from Hahn...to the young players...to the fans.  Fuck you Jerry!

How do you like Nashville as compared to the North.

It’s got pro’s and con’s.  The people are nice, but totally different and not in a good way.  The food has its positives, but the pizza sucks and they don’t know what a Vienna Beef dog is.  That being said, the weather is amazing, it’s hillly / green, lots of cool bars / breweries, and way better taxes!

And yet has many rings to show for it.  Give me a winner.  Tony is a winner.

Tony WAS a winner.  Past Tense.

No one hires a top 5 manager in the history of the sport to finish second

I'm told the White Sox are supposed to have a Zoom scheduled with Tony at 1:15, but La Russa can't figure out how to work his computer....

They got someone to take care of it, but have to wait for Tony to get back from telllimg the kids to get off his lawn.

It would be brilliant and a huge success!

Um yeah I would say so. What an opportunity missed.

I...will take TLDR over Ventura. Ventura we already know had no respect from players in this clubhouse.

Bingo.  Sox were about to be a real destination, but Jerry just has to fuck it up.

So last two offseason all players care about is money. Now, money is not the factor. Let's be real, the only other option for Sox fans would have been Hinch. And players wouldn't want to play for him.

That's not entirely true.

JR about to cry cheap this offseason too, watch.... I can see it.  "We offered people to come here, but they didn't return our calls, so we get to save money."

You gotta be shittin me

Horrible

Lol, cya!  He just hired one of the best managers in MLB history to complement an already stacked team.

Holy shit we have the worst owner/front office in all of baseball.

It's official.

Please sell the team Jerry. No one likes you.

2 steps forward 5 backwards

I love it.  I cant wait to watch this board eat crow a year from now
