TLR miss manages the pen again.  4 games, 4 poor decisions

  • TLR fucking sucks. Send him back to the casket we dug him out of.

  • Honestly one of the most unlikeable on field players in all of baseball.  And yes, would rather have McCann than him next few years.

Will we get an error free game today? Let’s hope so

Must win game today!

Gonna give Len and DJ a try tonight. Fuck Arod.

Both teams should get some answers re: Cease and Ohtani.

lets get the split and move on to Seattle rather get one of the west coast trips out of the way coming from Spring training then during the dog days.

Please win.

No excuse tonight. We should have won all three games so far. So much for the supposed best bullpen in baseball. Get it done and it shouldn't even be particularly close.

hopefully the varsity shows up tonight...

feels like I've been watching JV high school baseball.

Three things I'll be looking for:

1-Dylan Cease pitch command...can he locate his stuff?

2-Obviously, better defense. It's the reason they are 1-2...they'd be 3-0 if it weren't for all the errors.

3-And Yermin's first bat-flip, which will of course be almost as bright as Jesus was on the day he rose again.

HAPPY EASTER AND GO SOX!!!

I don't agree with Maddon's batting Ohtani, and buring the DH spot once he's pulled, but it will likely be the last pitcher we see batting on a regular basis in a non NL game, and next season perhaps the only batting pitcher left in MLB.

Not sure the defense will improve with the assembled White Sox roster, at least until Engel returns to shore up one position (it should be RF).The best the team can hope until then is for is the lineup outslugging their opponents and hopefully not burning good to great pitching performances.

Which Dylan Cease are we going to get? Regular season Cease or Spring Training Cease?

The optimist Sox fan in me is hopeful for a split. The veteran fan in me knows they’ve already blown that chance. Quite honestly, I’ll be satisfied if they come 3-4 win or loss tonight.

Wouldnt it be hilarious if the Sox dropped a 7 spot on Ohtani in the first?  The Angels lose Ohtani for the rest of the game unless he switches positions with someone, who is then also removed from the game.  Either way, I would prefer this outcome

People questioned my statement regarding Tony keeping Hamilton and Lamb all season. I can see Vaughn going down when Engel returns, and playing AA or AAA.

People thought he is a .800 OPS lock his rookie season straight out of A Ball, not sure that’s realistic. Under normal circumstances, he would have played AA and AAA last year, he’ll likely get his chance this season to obtain further development.

Five years into a rebuild and Billy Hamilton is our starting left fielder. Good lord that is depressing.

Bumgarner...

It’s possible he bats for himself when the DH is in the NL, but there is no comparison between the two.

Bumgarner .229 OBP / .535 OPS

Ohtani .338 OBP / .839 OPS

What a disturbing three games. Thanking for tanking Sox.

Vaughn should not be on this roster if he’s not playing all but once a week.
