Vaughn had 2 of the 4 hits. That should earn him some time off.

That one did not stay in.

They know the changeup is coming, should get the pen up right now

Hard contact.

That’s the pitch he needs 15% of the time to keep hitters honest.

Cesar Hernandez homer?  Really...?  Not a good location there.

Wind-aided homer...yuck

This Robert injury has Jason flustered.  He doesn't know how many outs there are or what day it is.

Right hip flexor for 88

I don't think I saw any 91s and 92s in 2019 but there have been a bunch this year.

I've seen 1 96 and 0 97s all year, and that is what he was doing the last two seasons.

Nothing at all crazy or alarming about 2021 here.

Giolito has just had had command in this recent stretch and it's hurting him imo

@ptatc on it once again.

Right hip flexor strain. X-rays negative.

Giolito was throwing 94-97/98 free and easy in the middle of the summer last year...this year he’s fighting against himself to get to 92-94/95.

Just googling, but a bad hip flexor strain can take 4-6 weeks of recovery

He showed up late so TLR took him out of the lineup.

Interesting. How late was he? I assume the arrival time for games at 1 pm would be at like 9 or 10? Or is it earlier than that>

Giolito not the same pitcher as last year

Stanton injured again? no way
