Not really, he totally didn't see Abreu and is out of the game too. Dozier was out even worse than Jose, I doubt he will play the next two days.

Looking at that play, Dozier was beginning to put his head up when it happened. Another fluke thing where we have to hope Jose is only rattled.

I just watched the Abreu play and both guys messed up. Dozier head was down for some dumb reason and Abreu has to know you can't run down the first base line without looking. Can't expect the runner to go around you as you cut through the line.

the way Jose was reacting looked to me like he might have issues seeing, which is usually a sign.  It reminded me of the play in the Illini Michigan game where dude took Eli Brooks' elbow to his face.  I hope he just got his bell rung and a mild concussion, best case.  It looked bad.

Giolito is back to 2018 Gio.  This is not good.  Thank fucking god the didn't sign him.

It didn't look like Jose took a direct hit to the head. I'm sure they are checking him for a concussion. Thank goodness he is a big guy and could absorb the contact better than someone smaller. Best case he is just very sore and misses 2 or 3 games.
