Has to be in the concussion protocol…

He’s staying in!

That's a hard RBI there.

Abreu gets hit for the 38477337 time now.

Quentin still leading him…

Wow, Abreu is a fucking monster.

If he was a wrestler he would be criticized for lack of selling

What happened?

Abreu got hit in the head on the helmet.

Jose's had somebody run straight into him on a pop up, he's had a bat thrown at his knee by an ump, he's had a ball thrown right at his knee, and now he's got a 97 MPH fastball off the helmet.

That was 100% intentional.

Absolutely not.

JA one tough guy

I don't think so.

That was the quickest a 75+ year old challenged a pro athlete to a fight since Don Zimmer nearly took down Pedro.

WTF I LOVE TLR NOW?!

On radio, they say Tony starting yelling at I think the pitcher coming to see if Jose was alright, and Roberto took offense to Tony.

Jose being lifted from the game, he needs a day or two off of not formally on the concussion protocol, no matter what he says. Head injury issues can linger for a long time.

Fastball got away and hit Jose square in the head

Accident. You can't fake his reaction.

Exactly. More overreaction.

If that was Yermin, Tony would've just stayed in the dugout. :ninja:

I keed.

I'm sure it wasn't, but you're never happy when your guy gets hit by 97 in the head.

I think it's bc they throwing in all game and have hit him twice and this one was bad

Can Kimbrel play first?

Only Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles would agree with you.

I keed.

He would have told Karinchak to throw it harder next time.

I really don't know what to make of that all. And I don't believe in all the macho mumbo jumbo of a manager screaming...but this one feels maybe a gelling point for the team (if that even is really a thing). I do like to see TLR showing some passion for the captain and I really hope that was just a slip.

I agree, Karinchek immediately looked like he felt bad....that guy is a hell of an actor if that was intentional
