The lineup sucks, his velocity is down and the ump sucks.  I beat everyone to it.  Enjoy the game.

Dude is in his second full season.  He's still learning at the big league level.  He's made a lot of progress.  It just takes time.  It took Garland time.

They have him next year too. If they win 1 out of the next 2 championships...will you stfu?

No, because a reliever isn't the reason the team wins world series.

Amazing how sensitive people are about kimbrel. Guy has been below average since we got him.

Hes not a value next year. He's making 16 million dollars. Jaysus.

Engel must be as dead as feared if he didn't pinch hit there

Time for Vaughn to flip that switch back

This guy loves throwing change ups and apparently nobody knows this?

Boone's done a great job with his bullpen here.

How many people left on base today?

Yeah...I'm sure they were sweating a bad baserunning, oft injured second baseman, and a reliever. What a big haul...

Yet that was on the borderline of being in the conversation for Burnes a year earlier...it's all about timing.

Sox hitters have done a great job missing hittable pitches

The problem is the payroll...we're already in the $155-160 million range keeping both Kimbrel and Hernandez.

That doesn't leave much room to insure the starting rotation (Lopez) or help out the bullpen much (replacing Kopech/Tepera.)

you have to be an idiot to think they're keeping Kimbrel next year

I saw on Twitter before the game that Engel was unavailable tonight.

you mean besides adding Vaughn

We had so many chances to score more than 3 this game. It felt like we gave this one away even though we never had a lead.

Definitely, timing plays a huge part. But I would think the FO saw enough, to know that banking on Madrigal long term, may not be a great choice.

Yeah that’s what it is. Sure.

I'm on the side of trading him and getting some prospects to keep building our farm system

Joke will be when Moncada makes 25 mil a yr, what a waste

The ball is carrying to RF. That ball had a .070 xBA.

Unfortunately we have Goodwin playing there and have to sweat out any ball That is hit that way.

Well, that was predictable enough.

True...have to be an idiot to think all these sellouts and deep playoff run revenue wont change the payroll going forward...

They are 100% picking up the option

oh my vaughn.....

That's if he still has value after we misuse him and ruin his numbers.

Guess Zavala needs to PH again to lead off the bottom of the 9th with Anderson looming again, lol...

these lock down relievers have been anything but except the kids who are still paid the league minimum

funny how that works
