They value relievers more than any other team in baseball. See signing the biggest reliever contract ever twice (Robertson and Hendriks), trading for significant resources for Kimbrel with an already elite closer in place, and drafting Burdi (no doubt reliever) in rd1 of the draft.

Well they love themselves bullpen games in the playoffs

Because LaRussa doesn’t clear his lineup decisions through them

If Lopez can get through 4 innings allowing 2 runs or fewer then he's done his job, and if the offense can't top that then fuck them.

It’s too bad they couldn’t get Milwaukee to bite on Crochet, Madrigal and Kelley this past offseason

I received a ton of laugh emoji's on here for saying I wouldn't have dealt Madrigal for Snell. I'm feeling pretty good about that one right now. Burnes, on the other hand... yeah... if there's any truth to that rumor it'll hurt for awhile.

Eloy is substantially faster than Vaughn. So is almost every other player on the team.

Yet measurably MUCH worse in LF.

Yep, just like his 2006 St. Louis Lightning-in-a-Bottles.

Or the 2005 White Sox. Late August to the middle of September wasn’t exactly stellar.

2nd base is the easiest position to fill, or so I have read on this board. But he will be OK, just in an awful slump.

It is easy to fill. Just bad luck on a player coming here and forgetting how to hit. Seems to happen way too often.

You have to have players fresh to lose in October.

First you have to get there, then you want to be healthy, then you hope to have everything lined up pitching wise.

Keuchel is the one who should be dropped from the rotation, keep Albatross under 160 innings.

Franco is such a stud.

And he can play everyday on turf.

LaRussa must have a back or a neck issue, He always looks like he is walking carefully so he won’t fall over when heading to the mound.

Two late nights in Ybor City can do that to anyone.

Funny how all these slumps always happen as a member of the Sox.

As it stands right now we are the 5th best team in the AL. In terms of who I think would win a 7 game playoff series.

1. Rays

2. Yankees

3. Astros

4. Jays

5. Us

How about the Red Sox.

Hernandez trade not looking good.

Where is Yolmer?

Less Ruiz, please.

Might see Seby pitching the 8th if things go south here

Ruiz does not deserve a playoff roster spot

But we can count on you being annoyingly negative every step of the way, so we have that going for us.

You're right the Sox are playing awesome I forgot.  My mistake.

At least Yankee fans are pissed!

Be careful... you will upset @ron883

One step forward, another step back with this team, every goddamn week.

We're a .500 team since the All Star break.

At least we don’t have to hear about how these losses were “coin flips” like peeps were saying about most of the yanks games.

Stop being negative.  You shouldn't question bad play.

Tim Anderson’s late game heroics prevented two sweeps vs. NY and TB.

He is the player the Sox can ill afford to lose, can see him sitting a game or two in Toronto. Hope the Sox can avoid both teams/stadiums in the playoffs.

Ruiz balks a run home.

Clown show Ruiz

When it rains...

8-0.  Way to show up to play the best teams…
