why the fuck does Tony always wait to pull pitchers that are getting lit up

What? TLR got so much shit for pulling Kopech early the other day.

Kinda hard to manage a bullpen when no one can get outs.

Toronto is playing like a team that knows it needs to win every game to make the postseason.

They’re also hitting like they knew what was coming last inning. I think Kopech may be tipping.

Also Toronto hitters apparently think everything they don't swing at is a ball.

Obviously not complaining about the offense just pointing out it probably isn't going to be enough sadly.

Why you have to be pessimistic :)

I'm already mentally preparing for Kimbrel's inning.

9 runs is plenty, not going to be mad about offense. This is all on the most overrated bullpen I’ve ever seen.

someone ( I think Rick Sutcliffe?) called one of those bullpens circa 2007ish the best he had ever seen ....and it was horrible . Like Andy Sisco, mike macdougal , boone logan etc

Gordon Absolutely Beckham

Beckham agrees - the pitch to Semien aside, some of those sliders weren't bad pitches. Every one got hit hard somewhere with 2 strikes.

Joe Morgan?

Can't imagine winning at Houston with this bullpen, and that's without even considering Verlander coming back...

The bullpen, Jason and Beckham make this game unbearable

Tapera for closer.

Build the entire bullpen out of Ryan Tepera

And now they look completely silly on Tepera's slider in the same exact counts.

Lol, Tepera is turning into the guy I trust the most out of the bullpen and I have to admit I wasn't thrilled when we traded for him.  Is that better lol?

Pinpoint needle accuracy by Tepera

Tempura not tepid my hero.

Tepera is our best reliever right now not named Hendriks.

Kimbrel get the 8th?

We can unclench now.

Aardsma, etc.

Crochet would be my pick for the 8th
