March 6, 20224 yr MLB at least used to pretend that it cared somewhat about the fans. In this case, they are not bothering to pretend. Why should they care? They believe that fans will take whatever they dish out.

I will say…if they sell their soul and go to 14, I will watch less regular season baseball, and won’t watch the postseason until LCS if I feel the teams that are in, deserve to be there…meaning good regular season win totals. They add inventory, I’ll watch less. Period.

March 6, 20224 yr I'm a little surprised that items like larger bases and robo ump is in the CBA. It doesn't directly relate to compensation. I guess working conditions. I'm intrigued with the one up for division winners. Actually I would have rejected it as crazy if MLB proposed it, but since it's the players, I'm interested.

March 6, 20224 yr It’s almost too bad there’s so much press coverage around the lockout. After every session we’re hearing each side say how disappointed they are with the other side, and that negotiations are going no where. Lock yourselves in a room, figure it out, and stop whining to the press. Cone back to us when there’s a deal.

If > 8 owners don't want to play in April, which I think is a pretty plausible theory, then it isn't possible for both sides to get in a room and agree on *any* deal right now.
