Pilkington making the Guardians OD roster on the same day Lynn gets hurt with no depth behind him reinforces what a disaster the trade deadline was

Hopefully it’s just a maintenance thing with him. Wouldn’t hurt to drop 15 pounds of gut through diet and some cardio. (Me too)

Fingers crossed. They still need a backup plan in Charlotte.

Must have been a good brunch spread.

The board also told us that Vaughn was out for year because the team played him out of position. They also told us Kimbrel could not be traded.

Just check out the posting history of the guy that ruled Lynn out for 3-4 months. Not hard to figure out the extreme bias.

The guy is 50 lbs overweight and were shocked he has knee issues?

And I can say that because I'm in the same boat. Until he takes conditioning serious his knees will always be an issue.

This...first order of business would be to lose some weight.

And by the board you do mean one or two know-nothing know-it-alls making nonsensical declarative statements based on zero information.

A little late in the game for that. He could have knocked off 10-15 lb over winter. By most appearances, he's just not that motivated to get fit, and at his age is not likely to change his ways in any significant manner.

Disagree.  A bastard is allowed to smile once in awhile.

My favorite moments of Lance are when the camera catches that smile in the dugout.

There was absolutely no reason the sox should have given up anything of actual value for cesar Hernandez.

You're probably right, but at the time the Sox were going for it all and fell for the 18 HR and 47 RBI's Hernandez had before the trade.

Bartolo Colon says hi.  He only made it to two all-star games after turning forty.  Sabathia barely averaged 29 starts, 12 wins, and a 3.8 ERA for the three years after 34. Fat guys just don't last.

So basically gonna be without Lynn for April and May. Woof. Rough week.

Yeah I’d say an acquisition has to be made at this point

Ugh.

22 regular season starts and a good postseason. Let’s go.

Sad.

You know who would be soooooo sick right now?

Carlos Rodon.

Too bad the Sox couldn't acquire him just for the year, and not have to make any long-term investment in him.

Just such a stupid fucking organization.
