If you wanted rest for the stars, pull them in inning 3 of game 1 and put them back in for game 2 and pound Guardian ass. It’s like we are managed by an absolute fucking moron

  • The silver lining being it kept Keuchals innings low.

A reporter needs to get the balls to ask Tony why he threw a game in April in the postgame.

Yep, what a joke

Shame for the pitching. They held it close but tlr didn't give em a chance

Actually, the pitching outside of Keuchel was great today.

Would Joe Maddon pull a Roberts?

Seriously...they gave up 3 runs in 16 innings.

What a display of impressive baseball all around, today by your Chicago White Sox, and HOF baseball person manager Tony LaRussa.

Haseley isn't even on the team full time and he hit him in the 2 hole while hitting Vaughn 6th and Engel 8th.

Well, I mean...Haseley has a great track record of producing at the plate.

And this was from a bunch of guys that most don’t want on the roster too. They did their job. Offense, even with the second game AAA lineup, needs to do better than 2 runs in 18 innings..

Wouldn’t they have to be sharp in order to be kept sharp?

Nope. Sometimes they need to play to get there.

I turned this off after that stupid choice by Super Joe.....oh sorry I forgot Steve said it was the absolutely right call.  Even with this shitty lineup, 2nd and 3rd with no outs is a hell of a lot better than man on 2nd with 1 out.

Save us Vaughn!

The lineup in game 2 doesn’t deserve to score more than one run.

Chase one AV

This offense is in a huge slump. We can say that TLR put out a minor league lineup in the 2nd game, but it's not like we hit in game 1 with most of the regulars in.

lol hes really letting mcguire hit here

TLR threw this game away.  Screw him - and JR and RH as well.

8 hits today, boys. Well done, thanks for forfeiting the 2nd game as well, Tony!

Disgusting day of baseball

:snowSo glad these guys get their rest not playing since Sunday…..

End sentence. Stop making excuses.

I'd rather see Luis Robert hitting than Adam Halesey in that spot. Full stop. TLR put them in a worse position, seemingly for no reason.

Tony is such a pos! Who is he going to rest tomorrow?
