LOL What are you talking about?

He has to tag and get to third base if the ball was caught. Man on 3rd with 1 out. He can't be going half way. He has to hug the base.

No I saw it again it was on Leury.

I don't get how Robert didn't even come close to scoring on that. That ball was to the wall and Franmil had trouble finding it.

Ball was almost caught.

Robert fucked that up

No he didn't.  The RF had a glove on that.  He has to be tagging on it.

He needed to tag if it was caught so he couldn't wander far from the base at all.

I thought it was pretty evident that Reyes wasn't gonna catch that.

Blaming Leury for that is funny STone. Robert was looking to tag up instead of going half way on a ball that was to the wall with a terrible fielder in RF.

because he should be tagging up... what are you guys talking about. Robert did exactly what he should do there.

I thought Leury was running the bases well lol?  Why is he not watching the runner in front of him?

Not "well" actually. Tony just said "ran the bases" like a complete moron

Lol Yoan is talking to both of them like what the hell are you guys doing

Another blast by Eloy

I mean... it hit off the top of his glove.

I think he was holding close to 2nd because he was going to tag up to get to third if it were caught.

To be fair, Tony never said he was running the bases well, just running them...

Say something, retract, rinse repeat. In the top of the 6th you'll change your mind again

That one was on Robert for hanging around at second forever thinking it would be caught.

It almost was.

But would have been caught by 75-80% of RFers.

Leury would gave easily been doubled up there had it been caught.

Great, only two more years of Leury to go, at least until his next ill-advised extension.

OK, but once Luis makes that mistake, Leury HAS to stop at 2nd.

The Indians having a really bad defensive inning.  Would be really nice to get the big hit here.

Then blame Leury for riding his ass at second and not hanging at first longer.

Leury definitely thought that ball wasn't gonna get caught and Robert thought it would. Leury going to third was his mistake that compounded everything.

We are allergic to big hits

Amazing Sox only scored 1 that inning

Robert did the right play there, tag up.   However, his hustle was a bit lacking.

Of course not.
