Makes sense. They use different relievers based on if they are winning or down by 2 or more it seems. Edit: having checked this, Foster has been worse at home. But nothing I side earlier changes.

don't worry, a hall of fame manager and his coaching staff will clean these issues up

True ineptitude.

They had him too

No they didn't......wasn't close.

I don't mind the play but make a better throw and catch the ball.

I guess I do mind that play with a guy on 3rd.

Love to give runs away

Has this team officially quit on their manager?  Cease looks like he's sleepwalking through this one.

Why even try a pick off there? Why?

That first inning was a microcosm of the season. Just surprised no one got hurt yet.

I have been meaning to post this question in a game thread for weeks, but then I skip it. But it KEEPS happening.

We ABSOLUTELY HAVE to be towards the top of the league in 1st inning runs surrendered, no? Either that, or towards the bottom in times holding an opponent scoreless in the 1st? I feel like we fall behind in the 1st every other game.

Well, we know it’s not from getting vaccinated

That’s what happens when a pitcher doesn’t have confidence in his stuff. Tries to get an out in another way

Sox are getting hangers and missing it....

Pollock is officially "awake"

Hopefully he can keep it up for a few weeks so we can get a bag of balls for him,

Nice staying with it Vaughn!

Also happy Mendick continues his winning ways.

Funny how good things happen when you don't strike out..

In search of his 6th consecutive multi hit game. I'd say so. It's been big for the offense. Now if the staff could just wake back up.

Will we get a 2 out hit with RISP? Probably not.

Oh we did, fuck yea.
