Yep he was going to tag and then just started running before it got caught 

If only the Sox could have some sort of coach stationed near 1B to read that ball and tell the runner to hold up.

If Engel was standing on the bag tagging then Moncada wouldn't have started advancing with him...but they have to watch the ball and or McEwing.
