  • Oh my goodness no.  The 2006 team would win 9 out of 10 games against this team. They won 90 games.  They had 4 players who hit 30+ home runs.  There were 7 players on that team that hit more HR

Royals play Detroit next so that's very possible for them.

  • Also shows the humidor narrative is horseshit.

I hate you do this to me but while the minors have had some guys perform well, it’s still very mediocre.  Lack of anything close to MLB-ready pitching is going to hurt next year.

I don't disagree, but they've had a lot of guys in the low minors take steps forward this year. But yeah, most of the help is still 2-3 years away.

Did you see how quickly it stopped when it hit the bleachers.  Something’s up in that direction

Could be that or having the rona twice in a calendar year.

He had something ridiculous like a 40% strikeout rate when he went on the covid IL. People hate that excuse, but it's exactly when his production cratered.

Yep, and neither he nor Moncada has been the same since they had covid in-season. Gio had covid in the winter as well IIRC.

Amazing how opponents are hitting home runs at will at GR, yet Sox hit it too warning track constantly.

This is just so laughable. Everyone but the White Sox hits a ton of homers in GRF.

I couldn't think of a more fitting nail in the coffin than getting swept by KC, at home, to put this team out of it's misery.

Please do.

Turned this shit off Pollock had no Fucking clue and the DP that was not lol

Great, we have arguably the two players most impacted by it in the majors

Once again we are getting out homered at home.  While this is happening we keep spending $ in relievers instead of home run hitting preferably lefty position players.

I know, it's just shitty white sox luck.

I know people don't want to admit it, but long covid is very real. Nobody is immune, not even pro athletes. Can hit anyone at any time if infected.

Sal Perez has the secret to hitting homers at GRF! Better sign him for 3 years!

The memo to not let Salvador Perez beat us did not get out in time.

Pollock has had no clue on any slider in basically every at bat I’ve watched of his this whole season

People hate any excuses , lack of empathy or sympathy. They just want results.

No but I follow baseball closely and haven’t heard of anyone supposedly struggling with it as much as these two guys.

Holy crap do we suck.  I feel like I’m rubbernecking an accident.  I don’t want to look but I can’t take my eyes off it.

Stop blaming covid

Because no one is, it’s just a lame excuse.

He was still effective and missed a ton of bats after the sticky stuff ban. I really don't think that's it.

He just doesn't have a good enough breaking pitch to make up for the loss in velocity on the FB.

He's basically a FB/Change pitcher.   When he was 94-96, he'd could live this way on 2 pitches.

Parkman is back for the non-tender discussion.

Maybe they can take Hader for Giolito in a change of scenery trade for both players...Super Pen II, or is it Super Pen III?

That swing from LOLeury just now. Hahahahahaha.
