Yaz hitting 5 th is tough.  We have the slowest runners in MLB hitting  back to back: Vaughn, Abreu, Sheets and Grandal, and not much speed in the rest of the line up.  Our lineup tonight is mostly AAA.  Our bullpen will have to win this game.

Not playing the Tigers or Royals.  Their defense ball Twins and Guardians this year couldn’t be worse.

Twins managing with way more urgency tonight.  Pulled their struggling starter after 4 innings and then brought in their top reliever in the 7th.

If you pay nice $$ to a short reliever and he can't go back to back nights when games are crucial, that is a waste of said $$.

This inning is the exact reason they won’t win shit this year. Poor defensive miscues cost them in close games.

Why can't the Sox have any good all-around players?

The 8 th inning has been our Achilles heel.  Harrison error hurt big time and Romy  failure to pick up ball cleanly also hurt. Our D sucks big time. Would have liked to have Lopez go two innings. Jimmy Lambert is a rookie who has not done as well in high leverage situations.
