No true.  The plan was for one of the stiffs to play the OF while the other one would DH.  Not for both of them to be in there all the time.

So they planned for the often injured guy in LF to suddenly not be injured all of the time.  Great plan.

No surprise.  Vaughn got exposed again as an incompetent LF with the Sox depending a lot on luck of not having many balls hit Vaughn’s and Sheets way.

I think Vaughn got slower from his hip injury earlier this year. He also looks a little chunkier this year compared to last year. He looked weirdly confident playing OF last year, but he's hesitating a lot this year.

They have been doing this due to plan not need.  We have been rocking terrible DHs in the OF all season long.  They have had ample amounts of time to actually get OFers on this team.  The offseason, the trade deadline.

I’m not sure why this is so difficult for posters to understand, as well as the need to remove the logjam from first base types in the outfield. They need to do this with one of Vaughn or Sheets EVEN IF Abreu walks.

Any manager who wears high socks as if he's a player, that's a complete giant turd to me.  Like Dusty and his wrist bands and batting gloves .

Those are batting gloves? They look like rubber gloves to me.
