Just now received an e-mail from the Sox promoting Diamond Suites for the 2022 postseason.

Must win. This is the season, treat it like a playoff game

Eh. If Seby hits that ball about 2 more feet for a 3 run bomb, or if the outfielder didn't make the catch, it would be a different story. Slim margins

A lot of ifs there, but they don't add up to much. The Sox hit into two double plays and didn't score when they had first and second and no outs. The bottom line is that they scored 1 run in the last 16 innings against the Rockies.

Actually there is nothing great about the city of Cleveland as Joakim Noah once said.

I had never been to Cleveland prior to visiting with my dad for the series the Sox clinched late last season with my dad.

It was measurably better than I anticipated.  Frankly, I enjoyed it alot.  Good restaurants, nice hotel options nearby the park, downtown casino, very walkable, we felt very safe, nice fans.

I think Cleveland gets a bad rap.

But their main export is crippling depression.

As has been widely reported and JR has said himself, he's not selling and has told his family when he dies to sell the Sox and keep the Bulls.

I know that as it's been posted numerous times here. I guess I'm waiting for that reality to happen!

He is 86 years old and will be 87 in Feb, 2023. I don't know what type of health he is in, but it's a very small percentage of males statistically that live beyond 87 in the US.

I'm not wishing anything bad for Jerry, but I have come to grips with the fact that until the team is sold, we probably won't be winning another World Series under Jerry's ownership, unless he wakes up and let's Michael run the team like he does the Bulls.

My advice is to take care of yourself, and hope to be around to witness new ownership.

That is great advice and I do plan on that, as I do take great care of myself. I've been screwed too many years with this POS owner and my major motivation is to wait him out. ?

Gaddis has thrown just over 3 innings and got lit up by Houston . let's see what the Sox have today.

That's some hair.

Despite Lynn sucking for his 1st 8-9 starts he's been equally good his last 8 starts. 1.81 ERA.

Also despite the bad starts he still has the highest whiff% on his 4 seamer of any other starting pitcher.

He's good at hiding the ball. keeps his front side closed and that big belly may help hide the ball too !

Not saying Cleveland is great or anything, but my wife got a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame membership for Christmas one year, so we kind of had to go to Cleveland.  We scheduled it around a My Morning Jacket concert and had a great time.

Anyway, f*** the Guardians.

We will get put out of our misery today.

Why should you expect anything different from this organization? I know some fans were saying months ago the Sox were going to use injuries as an excuse.

All teams have injuries, the Dodgers if I remember right, have lost more potential positive WAR to injuries this year to anyone, Tampa had the second most WAR loss in a story I saw last month.

They both are making the playoffs anyway.

The Sox have actually been good at a few things under this ownership...disappoint their fan base, make excuses and blame said fan base (and the media) for their issues.

In addition to the injuries, L.A. also lost Pollock.....how did they do it???

The first of many 1 2 3 innings for the Sox offense today I predict

5 innings 3 hits 1 ER

Starting off hot

yawn.....these fuckers better wake up or it's over today.

Gaddis drops his season ERA that inning from 21.60 to 16.62.

Nice job against another nobody. Shut out.

Throw strikes, Lance.

Why wasn't Jose taking that one?
