January 18, 20233 yr I'm going the White Sox way. All the $2 dollar guys and pocket the 5 I got left.

January 18, 20233 yr Ok, but actually, Ed Walsh $5 Tom Seaver $5 Wilbur Wood $3 Freddy Garcia $2 With those guys, I only need 4. And I'll still get 1k innings. Edited January 18, 20233 yr by turnin' two

January 18, 20233 yr Buehrle Black Jack Contreras Alex Fernandez Wilson Alvarez If Sale we’re on the list it would definitely change the calculus, but alas.
January 18, 20233 yr 1. Faber 2. Lyons 3. Walsh These guys are used to a 3 man rotation so that's easy enough.

Also, with how much you had to spend on the starting rotation, Despaigne will have to be in the bullpen, along with Jose Paniagua. Edited January 18, 20233 yr by wegner
January 18, 20233 yr Well $3 for a guy with multiple 10+ WAR seasons seems like the mother of all no brainers

My rotation: Seaver (in his prime; he still was pretty damn good with the Sox); Buehrle, McDowell in his prime and Gary Peters. Honorable mention: Hoyt of that one special season and Wood (the guy once started both ends of a DH). Early Wynn and Pierce and Lyons and those old guys can be honorary pitching coaches. I realize they might be the best of the bunch for all I know. Edited January 19, 20233 yr by greg775
