  • happy for Andrew. He wanted to be here, he's playing thru a hand injury, he's fine in the outfield and has more or less given professional at bats all year long

  • Never thought I’d see the day where not 1 but 2 Sox players with more plate appearances without a Hr than Nick Madrigal..

Yesterday really hurt. IDK why I am even going to watch. Should of had 2/3 in LA.

I don't have an Apple tree. Remind Len that "Sox road grays" are silver.

That ball did not look that well hit off the bat. Kopech having one of his bad innings.

Burger K again. Seems he is either hitting a home run or double or striking out.  Burger looks to me physically similar to Mike Trout.  Hope he gets closer in hitting performance also.

Can’t throw 6 straight fastballs to any hitter

Miracle escape there... up to 98 mph.  Not sure it will inspire any offense or not.

Solid focus and effort to get out of that jam. Hope the Sox can take advantage and score a few runs tonight to back Michael.

Love being on the other end of a NOBLETIGER

With an assist from the ump on that at bat against Ford.  First pitch wasn’t remotely close to being a strike and pitch 3 was borderline at best.

Is it a team rule that our starting pitcher needs to eclipse the 100 pitch mark by the 5th inning or sooner?

Grand slam with Piranha LEW Ford up instead.

Offense picking up where it left off in extras

Perfect 0/9 going for offense.

I’m going to suggest you have your prescription checked.

Kopech has to go 18 18 18 to get through five innings pitched.

Bullpen is pretty much doomed now.

If they’re not hitting homers or having good BABIP luck this team just won’t score

Who is the guy spitting seeds whose face keeps getting into this Cease interview?

So I heard the Astros radio color commentator talking down the AL & NL Central divisions and said to myself how great it would be if the next Reds hitter would go yard and the Astros lose.  Guess what the very next hitter went deep and the Astros lost...baseball teaches all lessons in life.  And that is why I have always loved the sport even though I always sucked.

It's not only fans drunk in Wrigleyville.

Not sure why MLB teams are entitled to a State Trooper escort.

Quote

With a state police escort, the team headed out of town. But, around 11:28 p.m., troopers noticed something wasn’t right.

“During the escort, the bus driver, 61-year-old Ronald E. Funderburke from Shelby, NC, was not following the escort and was traveling away from the escorting officers,” an ISP spokesperson said in a written statement. “Troopers observed more erratic driving and stopped the bus on the right shoulder of Interstate 94 northbound at Dempster Street.”

“After observing multiple signs of impairment, troopers arrested Funderburke for driving under the influence of alcohol and transported him to Chicago Police Department 16th District,” the state police spokesperson said.

Alright boys, can we give Michael more than 24 seconds of rest this half inning? Thx

Embarrassing looking at zero HR from your top two hitters in the lineup in the middle of June.

Lol excuse after fucking excuse from the broadcast crew.
