DFA, he is a .700 Platoon Only DH. He will never hold value at the MLB level.

Has Sheets ever looked at the scouting reports that some of the A's can run pretty darned well?

You have to be an 850-900 ops strong side hitter to have any value ... since zero is coming on the defensive side.

Their AAA hitters are much better than our AAA pitcher

They tried to make him the face of baseball to attract more African Americans to the game.  So they are reluctant to admit they screwed up and are doubling down waiting for him to improve, but he is regressing.  IMO.
