The broadcast with Beckham and radio with McKnight for Kasper is about as second rate as the team's play.

  • Nick Madrigal has more HR's then Tim Anderson on June 30th. Woof.

  • Prior to the season, if you told me the Sox would be 4 1/2 games back on the last day of June I probably would've thought "ok, not ideal but doable". Then add to that oh yeah they are also 36-47

  • Gotta get a sweep.

I checked, 8 ground outs on pitches not in the lower quadrant of the strike zone

Is there much of a difference outside of Robert?

Yes, Oakland has 3 good plus players to the White Sox 1.

1+ fWAR through half the season (2 fWAR pace for an average starting player):

  • 3.4 Robert
  • 1.4 Noda
  • 1.1 Rooker
  • 1.0 Peterson

It’s fucking puzzling they can’t do better than Andrus at 2B hahahaha

I remember when one of JR’s twitter sources said the Sox loved Andrus’ clubhouse contributions.  Should have just made him manager then.

Crazy number of ground outs tonight on fastballs right down the plate

Sox are a ground ball machine.  Tonight was the first time I saw our hitting coach when he got ejected.  Do we have an effective hitting coach..I wonder.  I presume he is a crony of Pedro.

Never ever ever ever ever draft a first baseman in the first round.

I never thought about it but you are right. Josh Naylor, Pavin Smith, Nick Pratto, Aaron Sabato and Xavier Isaac are the only other first round first baseman drafted in the MLB draft since 2013....when a team sucks like this you can spend time on Wikipedia and not miss a damn thing.

Nearly everything about this team pisses me off but I'm so impressed with the effort Remilard gives.

Basically every player on CLE last year and on Cincy now.

Btw, whoever said Sox will acquire Salvador Perez...he's likely ticketed for the Rays.

If anyone wants to argue him to be a primary backup SS who plays once in a while, fine. But my fucking god this guy is a regular lol

You are right. A team seriously contending doesn't start Elvis Andrus on a regular basis...if ever.

Who is the top 1B in this year's draft? I wanna go ahead and order his Sox jersey before the rush.

Andrus probably would do a better job than Pedro. He has a lot of  MLB experience…

Tim avoided the Golden Sombrero.

One run against a collection of the worst pitchers in baseball

Quick 1-2-3 inning against a guy with a 10+ ERA

lol just went 1-2-3 against a guy who had a 10+ ERA

3 ground outs to SS. Come on EEloy!

Oakland bullpen guys Rico Garcia (15.00) & Shintaro Fujinami (10.04) shut down the Sox, Remillard double the only thing separating perfection.

on like 6 pitches too

5 pitch inning. You can't make up, just how bad this team is.

But Hahn will see the '4-6 GB' in the standings, and do some even more stupid s%*#.

Good hustle by Robert. He tried.

The heart of our lineup couldn’t do anything  against a pitcher with a 10.5 ERA.

Lmfao a 5 pitch inning from this bum with a 10+ ERA
