They tried to make him the face of baseball to attract more African Americans to the game.  So they are reluctant to admit they screwed up and are doubling down waiting for him to improve, but he is regressing.  IMO.

We brought our manager from the Royals.  What do you expect?

Tim Anderson is a darn good ball player going through a real bad stretch. I’m not sure just what you are implying in your post

  • Nick Madrigal has more HR's then Tim Anderson on June 30th. Woof.

  • Prior to the season, if you told me the Sox would be 4 1/2 games back on the last day of June I probably would've thought "ok, not ideal but doable". Then add to that oh yeah they are also 36-47

  • Gotta get a sweep.

There’s just no urgency.  They will wait until next week to call up Colas despite how awful Sheets is playing.

It’s bc they like him. He’s a really great guy.

not a good reason, but that’s why sheets is still around. He’s ingratiated himself very well.

Ground ball city

Take me down to ground ball city where the grass is green and the girls are pretty

the stock of worms when the sox are on the road is going down.

They came back from a 4-1 deficit against a good Angel pitching staff.  They can do it against this team.

f*** off Anderson

Go the f*** away Tim

Not watching, but looked like a ball on Gameday for the punchout.

Don’t talk up how great it is to have a guy (Remillard) act as a second-lead off hitter in the 9-spot when you actually have a need for guys at the top, ha

Someone tell Tim Anderson he is playing baseball

That was a terrible call, but not like TA was gonna do anything anyways ?

Call me crazy, but it might be time to remove Tim from the top of the order. Just a hunch.

He better figure it out before he’s out of baseball in a few years

He looks like his mind is elsewhere.

I know TA's struggling and playing like s%*# but what an awful call.

That call hurts even more when you're tryin to come out of a slump, u see it correct but get blown call by the ump.

I have a feeling when Timmy leaves, it’s going to be very, very ugly

Bad stretch? I know you watch but do you? I’m mean do you?

TANNER BANKS

Maybe TA is playing himself out of a contract so that girl will leave him alone.

I kid. I feel badly for TA.

TIM ANDERSON IS THROUGH.
